i love Missoni but why am i not liking this collection?
maybe i was expecting something else???
there are few great pieces, but overall it's missing something...

don't really like some of the boots, they look really... rough, maybe it was made that way on purpose, but still :/
but the clothes are GREAT! different look to missoni, less maxi dress from them

Hmmm...

It's not awful, by any means, but as someone who normally likes and buys Missoni, I find this very ininspired. I don't like many of the colour combos (very dowdy) and find nothing covetable in this collection.

If this is a taste of what's to come, I'm glad I bought my Missoni pieces when I did!

Incidentally, why has everything turned into Marni, lately? I can't stand Marni!

Call me odd, but I don't want to dress like a tasteless librarian.

^^^^ I like these clothes from an artistic point of view , like same thing will jil sander ,artistically his clothes are beautiful but you cant wear any of it, these clothes look only good on runways . I think with all the hype editors give to "minamalism " , they feel fun glamourous clothes are stale . Ironically many people will pan , people like Cavalli for producing stale fun glamourous clothes but at the end of the day he is laughing all the way to the bank. Now that you mention marni , I have a bad feeling about Chloe this time .

I don't think editors over here (the UK) are hyping minimalism; so I assume that's a US thing?

To me, minimalism is stale - I don't see how anything that was the height of fashion 10 or 11 years ago (as minimalism was over here, at least) can be considered fresh now?

How fast is this (fake) fashion wheel supposed to be turning?

Yes, I think I'm always going to have a bad feeling about Chloe, though (until they change designers, of course!).

i really love that grown up look... and those "bows"-lookalike thingies.

I love this. Its pretty understated for a house like Missoni. I mean, you'd expect a print house to be really over-the-top and really colorful; but no, this is really an antithesis to what people expect from a print brand.

I love that it is minimalistic but not boring. I love the softness of it and the way the presentation was more intimate.

Best collection since Fall 2006!!!
