Miu Miu F/W 11.12 : Hailee Steinfeld by Bruce Weber

It's refreshing to see Hailee as their campaign model and changing from M&M to Weber is kind of surprising but I've always had a soft spot for his work.

The only thing I don't like is she does look like a small girl even though she's quite tall like 5'7"-5'8". I am liking so far and can't wait to see how the whole shoot comes together.

i like it...i got boring to see M&M high saturated color everywhere. the campaign is okay, eventhough it's a bit editorial-esque.

its a great shot and it sells the clothes but she looks rather young and short in the pic

I like the ad and I like Hailee for Miu Miu, but I think the outfit/angle does make her look short.

It's a sad looking photo. It reminds me of those children who get put into really expensive and strict boarding schools, where they're dressed really adult (like this) and never develop a fun childhood. Then when they're older they look at kids in the park (like this) and feel sad because they never had the same thing.

.... I have issues.

Haha... I thought something similar when I first saw it. I guess we are just overly imaginative people! But I do like the photograph because it looks like a film still to me- it looks like it's telling a story. Which is what I think good advertising does. And Hailee was a good choice on the labels part even though at first I was a bit annoyed they went with an actress. But at least she's a good actress and seems to have a good head on her shoulders.

I used to love miu miu's campaigns with the old photographer, the aesthetic was sublime! However, this change comes as amazingly fresh and gets me thinking and longing for more!

This collection was fabulous. The only problem is that it looks ridiculous on a 14 year old girl.
I don't know whose idea it was to cast her, but it sure wasn't a good one.

I highly believe that Hailee was a very good choice for Miu Miu this season.The clothes indeed contradict with her age but that's what makes this campaign special as well as it's what makes the clothes really stand out.All in all, j'ádore the whole concept , the place of the shooting,HS's pose and her expression everything is so dramatic yet glamorous .

LOVE LOVE LOVE the railway shot. It looks so sincere and unedited.
Don't like the grass shot. It looks so ordinary, like a stalker shot lol

The best thing about this campaign is somehow I feel like Hailee's acting skills were used. Her shots are more than just about the clothes. Hailee gives them a narrative quality, which I really don't think a model could have done.
