Miu Miu F/W 12.13 : Chloë Sevigny by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott

So I guess Miuccia brought back M&M for this one. I was dreading the results of this ad, given how much of a headache the collection is and how awkwardly Chloe often photographs, but this looks surprisingly light so far.

My immediate though upon seeing the image was "Yikes".

However, now having digested it a bit, I think I like it. It's striking. The colors are amazing. And the slightly off/awkward pose is kind of working.

I'm surprised to say this, but I actually really like this. Ofcourse I would prefer to see models in Miu Miu campaigns, but once you get passed Chloe's face the photography is amazing, and this is only a snap. Can't wait to see more, it was a fab collection.

Same reaction. The colors pop off the page and who better than Chloe Sevigny to front a Miu Miu campaign. The quirkiness works really well here.

this is the 2nd time they have used her to front a whole campaign. the previous outting was probably very sucessful for them.

Something about this just looks off. I'm not the biggest fan of Chloe so that probably doesn't help, but I'm also getting tired of seeing celebrities front the miu miu campaigns. For me the last amazing campaign was spring/summer 2010. Maybe some more pictures will change my mind
