Miu Miu S/S 09 Paris

SO happy I looove collection, best Miu mIu collection in years, interesting prints and textures, this collection is going to do fantastic I think in edits and the red carpet!

this looks way more like a moschino cheap and chic collection than miu miu....and moschino cheap and chic looked way more like miu miu....

i knew miuccia and rosella jardini were friends, but damn.

i have to agree. atleast with that first statement.

 it...It's light, simple silhouettes, and I love the prints.

I like this much better than what she showed under Prada in Milan, the prints work so well, and the shapes are not as unflattering as i first thought the shoes look wonderful aswell.

Pure beauty. Lovely patterns used. THe simplicity of the dress form is untouched, and that's how it should be.

I'm glad they saved the best for the last because this is the only collection I actually love.

i love those prints but the shoes so ugly. and it's so average style. and i also like the tore dress, miu miu finally make a wearable clothes after last season that i don't really like. is that because of economy crisis?

some of the dresses remind me of ugly boring school uniforms. the cuts of the dresses and shirts are always the same. there's nothing cool about pre-ripped clothes. i liked last season better.

I'm glad she did something more palatable after last season. The dresses are really beautiful. I'm especially coveting the printed dresses.

very nice! and much more wearable than last season.

Stunning collection!.. big thumbs up from me, I probably had zero expectations on this that it's suddenly looking very fresh and filled with the right dose of simplicity, a hidden eccentricity and well-thought detailing.. not to mention Olivier's styling (I'm guessing it's still him?) is always interesting to observe and strikes me as less desperate and pushy, you can finally see his peculiarities shining through.

I agree with helmut.n that this is reminiscent of Miuccia's work back in the late 90s, the minimal shapes and the traditional and unexpected prints.. it's more refined and feminine.. very beautiful. I wouldn't want to encapsulate her in some way but I always considered her to be particularly outstanding in the 'skirts' department, especially with Miu Miu, so I'm glad for the little tribute she's done here.. they're perfection in length, tones, everything..

Nothing innovative being honest. Those shoes looks horrendous, I kinda like the shapes but still not feeling it.

Most of the clothes are really nice, the prints, nude colors i love that. The shoes on the other hand are very dissaponting

i can't seem to find that in the detail shots but......

are those dresses (some of them) actually torn?

After a puzzled, disappointed FW collection, this seems like a triumphant return of the Miu Miu girl... It is way less kistchy and more refined, experimental at the same time with textures and prints. Well, I pretty much agree with Mullet 100% :winkiss:

This looks very going back to early Prada. The shapes and the minimalist sort of silhouette is very DNA Prada from the late 90's/early 00's.

indeed.actually, the draped skirts reminds me 02/03 FALL PRADA.

maybe this will be the most sophisticated and classy Miu Miu show I ever saw.

I love the prints, they are genius. However, I'm not OVERWHELMED by the collection. I actually prefer the past 2 collections to this one; but it is nice.

Side note: I am so sad it's all over for S/S 09' Fashion Week!!!
