Rachel looks fab on the cover.
my interpretation of it is, new york the center of a financial destruction with wall street spiraling downward with the collapse of the banking industry due to its subprime mortgage meltown that caused the real estate bubble to burst losing ones shirt of capital gains that was once appreciated in value of 100% and the rise of oil/gas that's already destroying the environment causing global warming. oh god this cover is depressingi like the cover - bubblegum included. obviously the theme is about the state of the world - people at it's center, carrying the burden of its land on its shoulder, the warm orange hue of the decaying sun, and the bubble symbolic of what control, if any, still rests with those that occupy the earth. or it could be completely random.rachel is gor-geous, bottomline.

superb work. what brand of gum?

I'm all over the impending doom.
I wouldn't want it any other way!
so, what is the exact of the interpretation of the cover?
some people here are really obsessed with the financial crisis. I just thought that it was a beautiful sunset on NY. I would have never thought of implosion and worldwide destruction when I saw this cover. You guys have a really fatalistic mind
