I thought it was just cuz she's more "useable" as a blonde and the three major blondes (Toni, Sigrid are Anna J) are missing. Not to mention her figure is now more fashion friendly, she's looking so gaunt this season.

it's because nobody else is doing shows, so she's one of the only big girls left.

well it looks like magdalena f is skipping milan the versace show had random written all over it , some of the girls looked out of place.

Oh man, no Magdalena either? This is getting boring. As someone else said before me, it only feels like an achievement when new girls do big shows when they share the stage with few new girls and lots of big girls. Excitement about the casts this season in Milan seems far away. If you look at the MDC Top 50 only Sasha, Natasha, Freja, Kasia, Iris, Abbey, Edita, Jac and Hanne-Gaby seem active from the first 25 (that's 40 girls in total)....how incredibly sad and boring. Maybe they will fly to Paris and show us how it's done after all...

Is it just me or is Kasia having one amazing season? She hasn't missed a single big show (it seems). Everything from CK to Versace to Prada, etc.

It's not unusual, though - she has always been a runway favorite (50+ shows, CK/Prada nearly every season since her debut). I don't think anyone should be surprised no matter how blonde her hair is now

Rayna and Iris for Versace Horrible Casting

Don't get me wrong. I like them, but they seem so out of place. Same with Natasha for Prada. I see Natasha as a womanly model, while the rest of the cast were teenagers.

I think I was more surprised with the fact that she's the only one doing all those big shows. Carolina Herrera, MJ, Rodarte, Michael Kors, CK, Alexander Wang, Prada, Versace. Those are the absolute top names that have come so far and she was at every single one of them. Not even Natasha can boast that achievement.

I'm not complaining since I like Kasia, so it better be her than someone I don't like. I'm just a little surprised because I never realized she was such a must have.

^Natasha has the opportunity to be selective, and her rate is likely much higher, so this season she definitely could pale in comparison to Kasia...but of course Poly has been around much longer already - I mean, with everyone else at her caliber bowing out I'm frankly surprised that she stayed in the runway game

Although I sorta liked the casting at Versace, some of Jac's looks were inappropriate and a little disturbing . This season casting so far has been a little confusing, surprising and somewhat disappointing. The only show where I have actually loved the casting and thought it went well with the theme, ideas and execution was Antonio Marras . Guess I'll just have to wait to till paris to make my final decision.

The prada casting was interesting, 6 months ago Katlin opened and now she wasn't required, Ymre is campaign girl and also not there, but I think she fit in well with the cast

It makes being at Prada less important which is a good thing I suppose , if it is meaningless 6 months later, to me its like saying "Stop watching what Prada is doing and make your own decisions" or "there is no great meaning to the prada casting, we re just choosing girls that fit the particular feeling of the collection"

I think, Givenchy, balenciaga castings are becoming more interesting though and i like how people have stopped slavishly following Prada and are making decisions based on their own aesthetic, I mean Ranya at Versace wasn't as odd as Eliza Cummings at Missoni last season...

I am pleased overall with the kind of season that Iris is having. I think that Iris looked great at Versace, the particular clothes that she walked in suited her look. While it wasn't an train wreck or anything, I think that she looked silly in the Anna Sui dress. I can't remember the particular shows, in fact it was more than one, but I found Frida's clothes and styling rather disturbing, in a Chester the Molester kinda way.

I agree with you on the Prada thing. For me i feel like it's not that special to walk for Prada cause they used a ton of new girls and campaign girls Ymre, Katlin and Julia weren't there at al (ymre is nowhere so she could have a othere exclusive) also big girls Sasha wasn't there although she is in Milan.

Maybe Anna S is skipping Milan as well. If she were exclusive anywhere, it must have been at Gucci and as far as I know she wasn't there. How ecstatic will I be to see all the absentees pop up in Paris all of the sudden...
