Who'll lasted? who'll lasts.....

Hall of Famers ( 10 year plus careers ):

Linda ( of course, I can see her for another 10 )
Kate Moss
Stella Tennant
Bridget Hall ( surprisingly she's still around, Bone structure really helps )
Carolyn Murphy
Naomi Campbell
Karen Elson (did she reached the 10 years mark?)
Nadja Auermann

Legends in the making ( Longevity wise)

Gisele
Natalia ( 10 years later, I can see her as a successor for Estee Lauder, her face is very classic yet fresh and modern )
Daria
Natasha Poly ( The cheekbones will take her so far)

anymore?????

Legendary....

Carmen Kass
Angela Lindvall

Isabelli Fontana
Alessandra ambrossio/ Anna Beatriz-Barros ( not a big star , but steady jobs)

Cindy Crawford
Alec Wek
Iman- My favorite Model of all time
Christy Turlington

Can't think of anymore right now.

impressive

the most impressive to me in this discussion are:

kate moss
amber valetta
karen elson
carolyn murphy
shalom harlow
guinevere van seenus

Bridget Hall- She's really huge when she came out over 10-12 years ago, and she's still doing steady jobs and major campains.

i know i bring her up a lot but my sister's barn owner julie. she stayed fresh in the industry for 18 years. it's all about redefining yourself that keeps em interested she says. at least every 5 years change completely

NADIA AUERMANN! :flower:

Legendary and still on the Chanel Runway (over age 30!)

i think what will keeps a girl in the business for a prolongued period of time is a flare for fashion.
if you look at all of the top girls who are still around......they all LOVE fashion, love to play, love to party, love to be see and BE seen most importantly

some girls cant take on that role....they just dont get it

I can't believe Karen Elson has been around so long. Dont get me wrong, I really like her as a model and I think she's lovely, I just remember when she came along and she seemed like such a look-of-the-moment that I never imagined she'd still be big 10 years later

Karen Elson has a lot of staying power, noh? I really give it to her. She's not even my favorite. But I'm amazed that every year she's still around doing major designer campaigns, with the same albino skin and carrot top hair. And she was featured as one of the Top Supermodel at the last year's September VOGUE, to think she's more than 10 years old, now that's a feat!

I read somewhere, that Ms Linda Evangelista is dating a very wealthy man, Barilla- something. He's an heir from an Italian Pasta. He's supposed to be a formula one racer driver. I'm happy for her.

LOL, Did I say it wrong? I was watching Project Runway, while I ws typing this. Austin Scarlett is scary!

First of all, the last post in this thread was over a year ago.

And not to mention Tyra retired so obviously not too much longevity.

Im giving special recognition to Isabeli Fontana and Jeisa Chiminazzo, theyre not at the 10 year mark yet, but theyre still going strong for a good 6-7 years of modelling, and working consistently. Thats very hard to come by...;)

If we're talking bigger models than that, Guinevere Van Seenus keeps her interest up by periodically popping out from the right editorials, as well as Karen Elson who dosent seem to have an end in sight, Kate Moss, and Carmen Kass and Angela Lindvall.

Can't believe she hasn't been mentioned yet. Liya Kebede. She was on the cover of US Vogue all by herself in 2005... I don't think I need to say how rare that is. Plus she was on Oprah, most middle-aged women now know who she is... whats that sound.. oh I think its doors opening :p

Plus her past major accomplishments.. Estee Lauder, YSL, past US vogue Cover, etc..
