I was watching Lord of War the other day, I was suprirsed to see Liya playing a prostitute B)

Liya hasn' t been that long in the business(6 years) and she isn' t overexposed. I think that is a good thing and it keeps her interesting. She is so much more than a model now. She runs alot of charities and she has a new movie coming up with Robert DeNiro.

Liya was on Oprah this year, and Oprah kept praising her "You're a supermodel!!" like over 10 times!! LOL.

Well if Liya is a supermodel.. doesn't that sort of imply longevity?? I mean if you think of Supermodels, longevity is sort of a requirement isn't it? Naomi, Christy, Kate, etc...

I also think 6 years is a long time, thats 12 seasons she has worked the circuit, most girls only last 2-3.

Alek Wek is one of the big ones...she's still just as fresh as she was then, still doing select runways...she gets better with age I'd say.

As much as I love Gemma, I don't think she'll really be around in 10 years. She's moved onto acting and I don't think she will be able to 'keep up' for that much more. Natalia though, I can see he going on forever.

Theres no one else quite like Daria so I wouldn't be surprised if shes around for 10 more years. She's not always working but when she does she shoots good campaigns and editorial. She's one of those girls that will always be remembered.

Who would have known? Natasha was just over a year in her career when this was posted and wouldn't really be a popular choice back then. 9 years after this was posted and over 10 years into her career now, things are only going to get better and bigger for her.


What about the newer girls right now? Those into their first year? Let's then bump this thread again after 5 and 10 years
