Models Who Aren't That Tall

I'm not a big fan of Vlada, but she's got long legs, which compensates her lack of height and makes her look taller.

The question, however, is - how could Sasha become a model as she's not, at least, tall ?

Because she is beautiful and full of personality!

I think it is very possible that Sasha is even 5'6" 1/2, since I do not believe that Vlada is 5'10" - or that Snejana is 5'8"

No way is Vlada below 5'9. Have you seen her body? she is soo long. and when people say her long legs just make her look tall, that's silly. have you ever seen a short person with long legs? generally, the taller the person, the longer the legs.

you can tell that she is vey tall, 5'11 I'd say. same with snejana. snejana is slightly shorter though, possibly about 5'10. Both are so long and slim, really, it's impossible that anyone would say they are 5'8-5'6!!

Carol trentini also is probably about 5'11, Heather M I'd put at 5'10. Agencies don't lie so much as you all think they do..it's not so hard to find beautiful tall girls. Some of course are bumped up, but not so much that it would be easy even for us to notice that. Sasha Pivovarova I'd say is 5'8. She looks that height, and it sounds accurate when compraed with the other models

one of my good friends that models said that 5'11 is like the golden height. not too tall, not too short. she is 5'10 and says agencies and clients tend to favor girls who are 5'11 in general.

but anyway...i wonder what people who have worked with these models would have to say about their heights? i don't think there is some conspiracy to list them all as taller than they are, although i'm positive it's true in certain cases. i just wonder who the short few are.

i'm agree with most of your thought except caroline. she's taller than heather for sure but even next to gemma who is for me a true 5'11 ( since her sister is 6'0) and i'm not sure but i think i saw a picture where she was as tall as Daria. i'm sure she's at least 5'11 at least.

I am only 5'4" and I have long legs. IT IS POSSIBLE

Caroline is certainly 5'11- I just rembered that in Vouge she mentioned being "nearly 6' tall." Gemma said something along those lines as well in a magazine interview... so I suppose both of them 5'11?

theodora richards is 5'3'' or 5'4'', lydia even makes her look short
her sister alexandra richards is 5'8''
a lot of your taller heights seem to be off. carmen kass is exactly 5'10.5'' , du juan is 5'10'' , rianne and elise are 5'11''... not sure about the rest but some under 5'11'' i would think are 5'10''

Depends on what you mean by 'personality'. She's very expressive when she looks pissed, if you ask me...

I think this was adrressed to me...

You forget that tall in modeling and tall in general is way not the same thing. A 5'7 girl is tall, but she's not tall enough to model. So, yes, you can look tall because of long legs, while not being tall for a model, if you're say 5'8-5'7... even 5'6...

i think the only time when i've actually gone "wow, she looks good" is for that hermes campaign she did with stella tennant and there was this one picture where she looked very beautiful. but even then, i wouldn't say she has personality

This can as well put Gemma at 6'0 +. I don't think that Daria is any shorter than 5'11... even 5'11 1/2, I'd say.

Actually, I was talking about Sasha. I don't think she has a particularly vivid personality...
