I think that confidence really is key. I've heard similar sentiments about Kate Moss and Mona J- backstage they act like they are just as tall and statuesque as all the other girls, even if they only come to Tiiu or Hana's shoulders.

There's other pictures where she looks taller, but she's standing at the corner so it is distorted to make her look taller.

Here it looks like they are all standing straight and she is only a little bit taller than Selita Ebanks, who has been said to be 5'6" by people who met her.

Maybe her [Selita's] heels are higher, it looks like that could be the case?

Nope, they might cast 5'9" and up, but there are always exceptions, so I wouldn't count that as a final rule.

My sister's friend met Selita and she said she was very short. Her heels look about an inch higher than Miranda, so that might be it.
About Miranda, it is possible to have long legs and be under 5'9". Her legs just might be really long for her frame, which might make her appear even taller. I don't know how tall she really is, but I would put her at a minimum of 5'8".

Maria Menounos is the one standing next to Selita. She's a news/entertainment reporter/anchor. She's currently listed as 5'9.5" on IMDB.com, but I could've sworn she was 5'7" there before, and IMDB has a history of bumping celebrity's heights down and up unrealistically.

I believe that..she was hosting Germany's next Topmodel and always had killer heels on but once they were barefoot at the beach, she was a tad shorter than one of the contestants, who was around 5'8-5'8.5

yes, now I remember reading those comments!Well she has quite good proportions then Though AlmostFamous was reffering to her frame and Sasseestefanie is around 5'10..so let's say 5'8 for Miranda heh
