Not a supermodel but Hannah Ware (Elite & Karin Paris) is 5' 5 (165 cm) according to her agency, and we all know the agencies like to exaggerate so I'd say she's not taller than 5' 3- 5' 4 (162-163 cm).

Dunno, as to Heather, but Gemma was quite skinny when she first started out. Her body's become more mature over the last year or so, but now, when she's a star, she can get away with what her body changes to be, easily.

Daria Werbowy doesn't look too skinng either... definately not as skinny as Gemma. Anyways, Irina Lazaureaz (don't know how to spell her name) isn't that tall. i saw a picture of her and lindsay lohan together, both in flats, and they're about the same height. Lindsay is 5'4''-5'5'', no?

Height has been exaggerated. My cousin is 5'11 (still growing), and yet she still doesn't get a lot of jobs! While I'm much MUCh shorter and a lot of people had asked me to model for them (I refuse though! Modeling is just not for me!). It's more about your style, how you look in clothing (for example, even though my cousin is much taller than me, my legs are as long as hers (look even taller in photos)), and your attitude. Plus, your face is worth a lot too. I was asked mostly because they say I look natural and healthy (don't have tpo starve myself to maintain weight. My cousin eats a lot less than I do but I gain less than she does) There will always be younger models who are willing to work for less, but it's the style, the attitude that makes you becoming a favorite among thousands of pretty-faces. B)

I think she's so successful because she has such an amazing face, so hopefully designers will stop looking at the height and more to the face

In high fashion, runways, designers do prefer tall models, but if you are 5'6"-5'7" but the designer really loves your look there are so many possibilties. Calvin Klein adored Kate Moss' look, and she's a shorty, look where she ended up? She's one of a kind.....
