Who said all models were tiny? I think you're creating something out of nothing. I've never noticed any negativity in this thread :huh:
 
I don't think Sasha is 5'5... 5'7 at LEAST. She is, after all, a model. I mean, 5'7 is pygmie in the fashion world as is. ;)

Yeah I agree. Models are tall, of course!There are some that aren't that tall though and many that are shorter than they are listed.Others are taller..so what?:huh:
 
sasha is definitely 5'7 or 5'8 tall... cuz i saw her on backstage and i'm 5'7.5 and she was wearing balerinas and she was my height...
and Lara is a lilbit shorter that the agencies are saying i think... i've talk to her and she's not that tall compared to me...
but Raquel is giantic!!!!!!!!!!!!!! she's much taller than 5'10!!! :)
 
I mean, I could see where people would call Sasha 5'5 though... I'm 5'8 and someone guessed me at 5'6 the other day. It's very easy to underestimate height. ;)

As for Caroline, she said in Vogue that she was 'nearly six feet' tall, and Raquel has alwyas looked huge to me. Not like, Michelle Buswell huge, but tall none the less.
 
I've always thought Sasha is a solid 5'7", but no taller than 5'8". Snejana is in the 5'8" range and she's taller than Sasha.
 
how come taylor warren doesn't walk the runway? her height isn't short compared to other runway models. i don't see why some "short" models get to walk and others are told they're too "short" to do it when they're the same height!
 
I'm pretty sure it has to do with if the agency thinks that the model will appeal to designers, face wise. My friend told me that and it kind of makes sense.
It is a little confusing, I ask myself this all the time.

Yes, sort of. It's hard to break into things and make an impact when you aren't very tall. Which kind of sucks, because you think, 'well look, Irina, Sasha and a bunch more aren't that tall, so....why not me?"

She should.Maybe it's just the factor of being in the right place at the right time and knowing the right people that some models can walk while still not being as tall as the others.

But honestly I don't see why she can't.She isn't that small, about as tall as the average model.I believe she's 5'7 ,which isn't a giant stretch.
