There's a photo of her next to a guy and she has flats on and looks really tall . Who knows though, the camera can fool the eye.

I think it was the way she was standing (I don't know who thinks up these poses to make one look taller, lol) but she looked taller.

Not everyone is judged by the same standards. People who know people don't really have to meet all the qualifications. Lydia Hearst is probably around 5'5," but she's a Hearst

As ms-nietzsche pointed out, it's not always just about model qualifications. Irina happens to know quite a few people (namely a woman who could arguably be called the world's biggest supermodel), and that was really all she needed...

Sometimes they excuse height for the look too, ala Kate Moss. It all depends. And celebrities get in because of money and that they are well known. There's quite a few 5'7 models if you look at the agencies websites. New York Models has a few. And so does IMG.

If you look closely, MC's heels are like 1", and KK's are like 3"....but there still shouldn't be that much of a difference.
