Models Who Aren't That Tall

Well, on this thread, people have said from 5'5" (165cm) to 5'9" (175cm)

I'd say 5'7"...5'8" AT MOST.

I have friends who have met Miranda, and on her personal REAL myspace she confirms she is 5'8".

Despite the ramp and KK wearing heels, I think Mariacarla isn't that tall anyway.

I think people have this misconception that models are gigantic creatures but in reality, even 5'9" isn't INSANELY tall, you know?

^ yeah. Most people think that models are like atleast 6'0" though. My friends said "well, don't you have to be like ATLEAST 6'0" to be a model?" ahaha

5'9" isn't really THAT tall, but it's tall enough! ahah.

Anne Wantanabe (VERY short)

I was watching the Y3 show on itunes and I seen this girl who looked so short compared to the other models. Alison Nix (5'10) had sneakers on (most of the models did) and Anne has heels on! And Nix was still WAY taller than her. And they say she's 5'9 (I don't think so).

I agree. I don't know what the big deal is, a lot of models are 5'8, if you have legs than it's tall.

I agree, I'd actually rather see girls who are 5'9, 5'9 1/2 or even 5'8. Sometimes 6ft can look too tall on the runway. And you can't really see their face when you're noticing how tall they are. I think you notice the face more on models who are a bit shorter. Personally, I think the clothes look better on someone who has long legs and most of the models I personally think can wear the clothes well are around 5'8 and 5'9.

A lot of models listed as 5'10 and 11 are actually 6' and up. Like Melody Woodin.

Anne Watanabe is kind of like Lydia Hearst or even Filipa Hamilton though... they're under much different circumstances than your average starving model.

it's not incredibly short but considered rather short in terms of high fashion.
