She really looked taller than 5'9 to me though. She looked around 5'10.5. And she was VERY small boned which threw me even more because I had always thought she was on the curvier side

She probably looked taller because of her proportions but she's 5'9" max because I know she's the same height as Natasha Poly. I remember seeing Anna Selezneva who appears so short but in person she actually looks tall because of how long her frame is.

170? By the way, I think I've been interested in modelling for too long because one of my girl friends was like "I'm 5'7" so I can't wear heels, I'm like a giant" and all I could think is that she sounded pretty short haha.

The thing about height and modelling is that I know tall models are needed to show off the clothes and stuff but it seems like every model's height is twisted in some way by their agency.

I'll see a girl listed at 5'7 and think wow she must be really small if 5'7 is the best they can do, same with girls who are 5'11.5, I automatically think they're 6'0+

I don't know why they lie about it so much if almost every model's listed height is inaccurate.

Agreed. And measurements too (which are more important really).
I know of models whose measurements:

1) vary A LOT across their different agencies worldwide - even one whose hips measurement have never in her life been that size
[eg 30-24-32 AND 34-23-34 AND 32-23-32 AND 34-24-32]

2) aren't even accurate on their mother agency's comp cards....

It seems the only thing you can trust is their name!

What I don't understand is when girls who aren't even that tall are listed as being shorter than they are. Like Tyra Banks in this video, they list her as 5'9" and she's definitely taller than that.

Sorry, I know they aren't standing straight but Jourdan is wearing flats and Kendall's wearing boots with a heel so that'd probably give her an inch.

I think Cara is more in the 5'7" range and Kate is like 5'5"..
Also, hailey Baldwin hangs with Kendall and seems significantly shorter in flats and the same height in heels. Estimate around 5'6". So, I think Kendall would be around the 5'10" mark or a little below.

The thing about Kate is, sure she's short for a model but when you put her next to other famous women, she appears quite tall.
She is not 5'5" that's taking it too far.

Kendall is 5'9" max, even that's stretching it, literally.
Here she is next to Toni and Jourdan.
Toni is 182, almost 6' and Jourdan is 181 (5'11.5")
Absolutely no way Kendall is 5'10".

Funnily enough I was thinking Kendall was taller than 5'10.
She always appears taller than Khloe K who is supposedly 5'10 too and she has no reason to lie (if not to downgrade considering how people kept calling her a giant).
