Models Who Aren't That Tall

Not exactly a shortie but compare Edie Campbell (178) with Lily McMenamy (180) both wearing the same shoes.. could be the angle I guess.

I wish shorter girls would only be signed if they are actually out of this world special. You know?

Thank you for your long post!

I guess because the agencies likes to think all their "5'7" models are incredibly special?
The reality is once they get a 'break' the agency will say 'well we knew from the beginning'. Insert that line to any of their models that gets a break.

Edie is like 175 no way 178, and Lily is 177.
Also, Lily is on the high step in this photo and Edie is on the low step so the comparison isn't great to start with.

No worries! A lot more where that came from
Well the amount of modelling work is vast and realistically any girl can get a break once if the agency push it enough. There is enough work to go around, therefore rebooking is key. Of course an agency will call their girls special whatever their height or specialness. If they scout and sign a girl, they will look like a fool if they don't run with it. Normally you'll get some members of an agency not keen on a girl but they have to run with it, it's their job after all.
Sometimes the girls have connections to people working in the agency, maybe a niece or family member, or some kind of status or wealth, and the other scouts will be annoyed at this because a lot of the time a scout really sees something in a girl, takes her into the agency and other colleagues turn the girl away. Happens a lot. It all gets a bit complicated really :D

Olympia Campbell is doing well (connections are a big help) and she's down as 171 cm by Viva.

Jamie is around 177 yeah.
Also, Issa is NOT 6'1", she's 5'11".
The photo with Jamie and Issa is deceiving because Jamie is on the low step and Issa is on the high step so that isn't a good comparison.

Idk about you guys but I always find myself unintentionally falling for the shorties:lol:. I open up a thread, instantly become OBSESSED with their look & get excited about the STAR potential of these stunning newfaces until i glance at their stats and my heart instantly sinks:cry:.

yeah I get you, the shorter models are usually the most stunning because they really need to make up in the face department because they don't have those extra couple of inches. They always do great in editorials though.

Statistically, there should be more gorgeous girls who are 5-7 than 5-10 anyway;)

I know he's not so much into high fashion, but Sergio Carvajal is short too. I thought he'd be tall. I saw Sight Management lists him as 5'7, but then his other agencies list him as 5'9.

Surely Anna is 5'7 at most..Hanne is listed at 5'10 and originally at 5'9

Anna stated (or the author, Laura Brown) during her harpers bazaar US interview that she is indeed 5'7.

Who is this Anna? What's her last name?

Is she any rich/famous by her parents to get into modeling at 5'7?
