Morrissey / The Smiths

I need to get the new album...even if its a "Best Of"...and even though he has like three "Best Of"s

But this one has two new songs on it I think.

I was really happy when I heard 'This Charming Man' at the finale of Alexander McQueen's show.

zowie and brian from boudicca often use the smiths at their shows and presentations. if you go to youtube and look at the boudicca page, they have a show from aw 99 with last night.... utterly beautiful contrast with that collection.

under the username boudicca13

Apparently he fired that Kristeen chick from his tour.

good, she was awful. Made my ears bleed.
Do you happen to know what happen?

I been playing The Loop for hours now! I just can't get over how such simple lyrics he writes makes you feel like there is someone who actually understands what one is going through hahhaaa.

I'm not much impressed with the track listing of the new Best Of, and I hate That's How People Grow Up :ninja: but it's still worth a buy for the other new song All You Need is Me, which is awesome.

just got the new DELUXE hits LP with additional live disc from hollywood bowl.

as far as NEW songs, "Im throwing my arms around paris" may be the best, but its slated for next studio LP.

I dont remember.

I think she did something that was kind outside of the show, and he didnt want to be attached to her anymore.

Kristeen said during one of the shows at the Hammerstein that "Morrissey gives great (amazing?) head."

Then she was fired.

I don't think there was any explanation or anything from Morrissey or Kristeen for it. I heard and read online people hated her at the shows and found her personality irritating her music awful and people weren't really dancing? yelling at her? I don't know so she tried to provoke some sort of reaction from the audience by saying that. Some people said it was because Morrissey's family was at the show too.

^^ I love "Throwing My Arms Around Paris" too!

^ Hahaha, that silly girl. When I saw her in Houston I was bored and I just wanted the little girl to get off stage so I could see my man!

Uppity up goes The Smiths/Morrissey thread!

I'm surprised only one person has mentioned Half a Person. It is one of the most beautiful songs ever written.

This needs a bump cause Moz's new CD is coming out in less than two weeks. I'm so excited for Years of Refusal. So far I'm loving all the songs I've heard.

I'm on such a Smiths kick lately I just listen to them over and over again

I love Morrissey and The Smiths more than any other artists. a lot.
but, I'm actually not so very fond of Years of Refusal.
of course it's good, everything morrissey does is good, its just not something new, just sounding like all other songs these recent years.

but that will not stop me going to the concert in sweden.

^^really?:( I think it's better than ringleaders..almost as good as you are the quarry..I'm sure if you see the songs live you'll change your mind
