Dutchster
Which dutchy with the trout pout can take help from another model, but can't seem to find it in her to be polite and help someone else out? trip and fail b*tch.

Oh on the other hand, how adorable is Bambi in person? literally the best sweetheart ever... Siri and Toni best friends? or just casting partners, oh and Fei Fei? what a silent beauty! jealous...

Well , so we have a dutch girl making her rounds in NYF being not so polite ., but considering she is saying the trout pout :innocent: ....meaning those features are her sellingpoint .

I have a feeling it might be India Farrell because the model is a newcomer, I read something about her being British and something about her leaving at the peak of her hype. This model is doing fashion week though and I don't think India is.

^I read an article that she's a British 20 something model.

^I read an article that she's a British 20 something model.

What we know:
  • She's British
  • 20something
  • A newcomer
  • Doing NYFW
  • Lives in a model apartment
None of this is certain though since she would probably change certain details to stay anonymous.

Edie Campbell? She probably has the personality to do that. I can see it.

Found these articles on Fashionista.

View From the Fourth Row, Tatiana the Anonymous Model, WWWWD, NoBtotheS. The fashion crowd loves a mystery columnist, and their latest obsession is A Model Anonymous.

Launched January 1, 2011, this deeply personal blog is the diary of a 20-something British model, struggling with taking on fashion full time. It’s a mix of stories about issues with friends, juicy industry gossip, and the simple day-to-day goings on of an up-and-comer.

Unsurprisingly, members of the The Fashion Spot and Fashin are already speculating about the author’s identity. Any ideas?

Yesterday we posted a story about A Model Anonymous, a newish blog documenting the life of a newish model. Soon after our piece was published, the model decided to delete every post she’s put up since January 1, 2011. Her explanation:

Wowza… just as i say i’d like to go private, i get a million people guessin’ who i am!!! which is fair enough, i mean you don’t call a blog ‘anonymous’ without asking for trouble… but i supposed i thought everyone would be too busy checking out Fashion Toast or Tavi to bother with little o’ me.
If you’ve followed me for the last few months, then you’ll understand why i deleted all my past posts. You know me. You know why. I still want to blog, but instead i’ll blog and leave the post for a few days and then delete. This way i stay truthful to myself without blogging ‘carefully’ and no one can turn around and ‘guess’ who i am from a past word i let slip.
The problem with this reasoning: A. Even though she deleted everything, it’s still cached in Google, which means you can read all of her old posts by clicking here. B. If she really wants to write a personal diary, as she says, why didn’t she just write a personal diary? If you publish something it means you are putting yourself out there. It means that you are willing to receive feedback from your readers.

We hope A Model Anonymous decides to keep writing even if the media and her readers continue to speculate about her identity.

Edie Campbell? She probably has the personality to do that. I can see it.

I don't think so. This to me is written like someone who's struggling to break into the industry, Edie has coasted in, thanks in part due to her mom being a former Vogue Editor.

There can't be that many 20 year old British girls in NYC for castings, we should be able to crack this...

I hope for her she used a smoke screen and that all the clues are lies otherwise it won't be hard for us to find out who she is. And the "b*tches" might not appreciate.

But when you say trout pout the first thing comes to mind is Daphne her lips are her topfeature and besides Bregje doesn't walk that many shows.

This girl doesn't seem to be very successful, but her perspective is interesting since there are many like her who are passed over.

oh, I think I've read this one before! Anyway, I'm with fashionista - I hope she continues blogging, I like the little peeks into life as a model and how honest she seems about it all.

Oh, and does anyone have a guess for this (from 6/6/2011)? Sounds annoying, but I can't remember any "cool girl" models who were interns around that time.

darling hipster girl,

your so achingly 'cool' with your shy persona and your 90s style. You buy $2 thrifted havana shirts with pleated lolita skirts and creepers that your mom gave you, and work for Nylon, model for japanese Dazed and your best friends with the new Cory Kennedy. But the reality is your just another girl trying to get rich or blog tryin' and your not ****ing shy, nor are you cool. You have a **** blog, and you post **** vintage photos and you make **** clothes. Your a moody **** who judges everyone based on how cool they are and your friends are all famous due to your mutual graduation from $$$ college. Hot shot fashion smashion magazines like you because the are equally ******** and only support rich kids like you. Everyone is a style icon if they can afford to wear AW11 prada. Dumbo.
Lastly your now a intern for super duper designer of the moment, wow, i guess you really are the next Anna Wintour. **** YOU **** YOU.

I'm pretty sure that AMA isn't British but American - she's previously said that she uses a 'scrambled' IP address whenever she blogs which begins with a UK-preface. I think she might have even said something along the lines of '[blog] was wrong, I'm American' when she restarted the blog.

I have a hunch from the way she talks about height issues (this might be completely untrue, though) that she's somewhere between 5'8 - 5'10. She could easily be British though. She's probably not with IMG from her last entry, either.

I think she is with M&P in London...and she must be with a top 10 agency here in NY. It seems like she's very new to the industry (I wouldn't say not successful) because of the way she describes her experiences with partying, modeling perks etc.

About that hipster girl, I don't know why but Iekeliene Stange came to mind.

So she admits in today's post that she is changing places, ages, etc of models. I still think she's British and 18/19, until her blog caught on then she got scared of being IDed and said she made that up.

I actually love Cathy Horyn. She has this rare american humour which few of us can ever really pull off without sounding seriously slow, her posts are articulate - but not boring and she covers everything from actual fashion events to how vain Kim Kardashian is; if your wondering - pretty vain. In many ways she inspires me to continue writing my blog without hesitation, yes i may change names, ages, places and genders of models (including my own) but she doesn't stop herself from writing if she has a valid reason to write. For example, back in the day she was banned from a show for a rather crude review, but to be honest, it was a bad collection and it deserved the review. So there, i'm team Horyn. I love a good fellow american with a bitching sense of humour, its rare on this side of the pond...
xoxo

p.s if your going to guess my age depending on how i write, please feel write to guess i'm a Tavi type with a penchant for writing despite still being in a onesie rather than a Hutton type model...
