I don't get it, does the blog have a new author or why are we back to guessing who it could be? I haven't read any blog posts in forever, but if she still changes some facts around then I would guess that if she says "Candice" she actually means "Liu", and "just another blonde" would be "just another Asian". And even if AMA wasn't Vanessa Lee, in a earlier blog post AMA said she wishes she was a blonde bombshell but she wasn't so the comparison to Candice makes zero sense to me, lol.

i just read through this entire thread and it sounds like charlotte and vanessa are the main guesses but based on supposed facts which we all guessing are changed anyway so we cant tell what is the truth or not.. so many people fit this profile young new model who is british or american or who is based in a main city and is just starting out...
...there is something really raw about this particular post.. i think the candice reference is real i mean if she wanted to lead us on she wouldnt choose someone so obvious. either way i love this blog and judging from her followers on twitter (models.com, elisa sednanoui, jason wu, even andrew weir) i think everyone in the industry does too regardless of who she is or isnt... though it is intriguing as someone in earlier posts said... i just want to read about the modelling world lol k thats my say

if it is a model of asian heritage i think it would make more sense for her to be confused with Liu Wen

as in, a white casting director might have trouble differentiating those with asian heritage (not in any racist kind of way, just a common problem for caucasians)

My friend Jen did a show for a very exclusive house, highly respected and one of the grand shows of the season to do. She walked for both the mainline and the diffusion and was given X amount for the show, lets say 1000 euros. Jen is not white, but she is beautiful, slender and 6ft. Melissa is Jen's white friend, Melissa is a new girl with a cute face and is again slender, 6ft and has been booked for one show. Her rate is 1000 euros.
Jen and Melissa get the same rate, but Jen works two days. Why? because she is not white. Its not a question of her experience, Jen has tear sheets from all the big magazines. Its because she is not white.


You are only worth what your colour is, apparently.

The girl in the twitter profile picture is a model named Lili Sumner from New Zealand. I don't believe she's AMA though.

And 100% not Emily, Emily started modelling in New Zealand and six months later had booked every major show, she didn't have a dificult path , but a charmed one, she was accepted into the top echelons instantly and had none of the experiences of Ama, she is a very sunny personality also

the only solid and 100% proof we have of this model is the picture from Louis Vuitton, its a picture not words and we all know 100% that all of the above did not walk that show so how can you still be guessing its vanessa? its not rocket science to work out that her previous posts in fact all her posts like the FRIEND thing... they are her voicing other peoples opinions... not hers

its so obvious come on guys why would she delete the louis vuitton picture straight away because she realized it comes down to about 100 girls who walked the show!!! lets not be silly we have the potential to find the real her and also i was thinking about this picture on her twitter page... wouldn't she presume everyone would presume she is lying about what she looks like right?so if she uploaded a brown/black haired girl everyone woud presume she is blonde and vise versa... it kind of does make sense she is a blonde white girl (the picture, candice reference, louis vuitton show) but misleading it to make it sound like she isn't so we are completely off the track...

AMA also talks about male models equality, low pay for all jobs, she addresses weight problems all the time issues with travelling and being away from loved ones... so if we were gonna go with all these topics she is a male model who gets paid nothing and has weight issue but travels alot. even though she talks about her friends having a hard time with their ethnicity it doesnt necessarily means thats her... i dont think it is. its obviously from the way she retells stories of other models that she is using her blog in a certain way (but also it gives us juicy gossip on the industry ;P XD

thats actually a really good point haha, she is using this blog more as a means to shed some light on the model lifestyle. which is pretty good! although some of her stories are written about another model friend, and some are written from her point of view - so i was just taking the stories that she writes about herself as being about her! plus she has previously said in posts that she is not the typical beautiful looking model, (blonde hair etc)..

that picture has been edited to be sepia? how do you know a, it is even her hand as we can see from our twitter picture she borrows images online to cover her tracks? (i think) OR if we presume that is AMA's real hand then we can also presume her twitter picture IS her...
