i saw him first in an elle i believe... it had liya kebede on it with a rochas dress... his designs take my breath away.

and he's cute.

not as cocky looking as marc jacobs.

*please do not quote images*

hope its not repost ,i love this photo. anyone know where is it come from ?thanks

^^ I can tell you that it's from Vogue US. I'm not sure which issue though.

i forgot the credit. the picture i posted in #83 is from the most beautiful dress thread.

that image is with hana soukupova is definitely from 2004, i believe the issue with jennifer connelly on the cover.

also i went to his reception at the french institute and he is very sweet. he has a level of approachability and humility with all the grace you would expect. though he's well aware that people perceive him as the 'shy, quiet, gothic-esque man' and he doesn't particularly like it how people have those perceptions. it would be the same as people always assuming you were a specific way. it's unnecessary, but normal for people do create it at the same time

I'm pretty sure the aforementioned photo is from the September 2004 'models' issue. I loved that article - Alber Elbaz, Nicolas Ghesquiere, and Olivier

GAH I know. If there were only a way to turn him straight.
He's quite handsome and amazingly talented. Definently my type. If I ever saw him I'd kidnap him and take him off to a secluded island, where he'd have to be my boyfriend and make me stunning clothing. Oh God, lucky lucky boys.

Oh Oliver. I wonder if he'll ever read this.

The photo in post #90 is from September 2005 US Vogue with SJP on the cover.

I could have sworn the picture in post #83 was from July 2006 US Vogue because they had a picture in that issue that was practically the exact same image except it was Gisele instead of Hana!

He was in NY recently for a talk at the Alliance Francaise with Pamela Goblin (if any of you were there I was the one that asked about the the Smashing Pumpkins music video )

I said hello briefly at the reception afterwards, he's really nice, very comfortable in his own skin, and is very savvy about fashion. They gave us sketchbooks with his own drawings printed in them. I'll scan and post a few if any of you are interested.

Mutterlein! What did you ask him about that Smashing Pumpkins video? :shifty:
And what was his response?
