Those own-name collections are amazing.
I spent an afternoon on Firstview.com looking at his old shows, as soon as Ive uploaded some pictures Ill put them here.

Ive been searching for months for a copy of the magazine he guest edited, I think from 2003/2004. It was called N° Magazine (became 'A magazine'), and each issue was a different letter (he did 'D'). Does anyone have any leads where I might be able to find a copy? even a used one? I emailed the people who make A magazine and they directed my to someone else, but I never got a reply, I think because my emails were in English :(

Thanks Gius!

Here are a few images of SS 1999 I got from Firstview.com for those interested in the work from his own label:

Its impressive how much there was in the collections really, theres lots of more wearable looks that i havnt posted.

I love the few pieces with hook & eye closures....they're a bit of an obsession of mine lately.

The yellow ballgown is especially gorgeous.

I think that first white shirt is perfect!
I love the wearable 'daywear' looks from the early collections, I think theyre sometimes more sophisticated than the huge dresses actually.
I remember one dress though, from ss2000 (see below), that looks exactly like it could be a modern dress for Nina Ricci. Its grey/silver with the slashes around the body.

Heres a few more looks (firstview again) from ss2000. If your interested PM me and Ill send you the full collections- I dont want to fill the thread up ^_^

Oh I did not know that Mylene was wearing Theyskens . This video is soooo old.
For people who want to know more, she's one of the most amzaing french artist

thankyou so much!
I hadnt seen that before
do you have any other videos from his own collections?
I love that one.

I uploaded all the photos I have of early Theyskens onto a photobucket album for La Bordelique, if anyone wants the URL let me know. There ss1999, aw1999, ss2000 and also some backstage shots of Rochas with the clothes up close. I think any later shows are available on style.com etc.

So I was looking at a Ninna Ricci collection and I showed my mom because I am always annoying her with my non stop fashion obsession and she thought he was one of the models it was so funny. I love his early work it is so dark and gothy (in the best possible way) and he is a cutie. As a side not how do properly pronounce his name?
