Paul & Joe for Target

its a very small cut!

more will come out on september 1 i think!

what is target like in austrailia? any good?

thanks for the update! lol, i dont need to buy anymore jeans but i love the cute little pockets on these p&j jeans. so adorable.

australia target has imporved a great deal in the past few years, i think US target sell much nicer stuff and i love the collaborations with upmarket designers, aussie target i think is only just getting into that sort of thing. i think they will be collaborating with an australian designer soon, so that will be exciting.

out of curiousity, is the Target in the US good quality?

i think all the imported stuff that comes into target in the USA has to go to minneapolis first and then gets distributed in big huge trucks. maybe thats why the austrailian target has different things.

wow, i hope target austrailia collaborates with someone good!

the owl pockets on the P&J jeans are nice.

i think quality at target is pretty good! its much better quality than H&M. and its certainly better than any other discount store.

I had my mom buy me some paul & joe stuff from target since I dont live close to the store...I was really impressed with what I got.

-owl jeans are a good fit
-silk green shorts w/lace are pretty and the most comfortable things ever!
-black tie-around top w/roses is pretty cute
-owl clutch is cute and nicely made...100% cotton
-turtle belt..I havent worn it yet, but its cute

I also want to get that navy/gray/pink short sleeve sweater :flower:

following usmarinewife's advice, are there any canadians here who have bought from target somehow?

^ i'm not in canada, but I use usabox.com to get stuff sent to me in the UK. it provides you with a US mailbox, and is the cheapest service of its kind around (trust me, I've shopped around!!)

I think US target has good quality product, the stores are well organized and clean, totally different than walmart.
And target's clothing line, shoes, underwear, jewelry etc are really nice quality.

a lil off subject but i just went in again to see if they got any new paul and joe stuff. saw some cute khaki pants (but im not a khaki gal) and the ballerina and cat cap sleeve thermal shirt. poncho thing is all sold out....for some reason, i still cant get it out of my mind even though i wasn't impressed with the cut....i think i may have to still get it....they had one turtle clutch (that they didn't have before) and monogramed "paul and Joe" clutchs in teal and i think pinkish purple. they were cute, but i have too many wristlets....more colors of the jersey tees with the buttons on the shoulders and some black denim cropped pants.....

i walked out with a cute mossimo denim mini....will look nice with all the paul and joe shirts i've bought so far ^_^

hi, was wondering whether anyone got the pintuck camisole and the tie back paisley top w/ lace sleeves.

I've heard that the lace sleeves are a bit tight so i don't know whether i should go up a size. I'm 5"3 not stick thin but i have a bit of meat on my bones..wouldn't be considered chubby though. I'm debating between a Small or Medium. Anyone know whether the jump between sizes is big or not..cos if it's not i might go up a size to be safe.

for the pintuck camisole, i read the reviews that there is no zipper. I'm a 34B bust so i'm not sure if small or medium would be better.

thanks so much to anyone who can help me. i'm across the border, so once i get someone to help me buy the items in the u.s. i won't be able to return them!

my order is expected anyday now. after hearing about the tight sleeves issue in the paisley top i sized up to an M. i will post my opinion here as soon as i receive my items!

i guess you can always cut the sleeves off if they give you to much grief. thats what one of the customer reviews said.

affraid i cant help you with the paisley top, but i did get the pintuck cami and i got it in a small. it has snaps up the front (it's the silk wallpaper print one right, that your talking about?) and you can undo them to get it on. im 5'6" and my bust is 34" and the small fits kinda snug and is a lil short, but looks cute with jeans. i tried a medium as well, and kinda debated, but there was kinda a bagginess to the medium, so i got the small. but if your a 34b, i'd say deinately go with the M, just because the bust fit is a little small because the fabric doesn't stretch. i had just body by victoria wireless and padless bra on....and i think any other bra would make it a lil too snug in the bust.....

hope that helps, and hope im talking about the same top you have in mind:flower:

i rarely post but thought that piping in would help - i can't help you with the tie-back top, but i have both pintuck camisoles (the wallpaper print one and the ivory with paisley) and am pretty much the same dimensions as you (5'3", 34B, not stick thin but not chubby). i would say go with Medium; i could fit into the S, but it's tighter and the green wallpaper cami was quite cropped and i didn't like that. the M is longer with more room, and gave the fabric a better drape on me. it also just felt better as well. the S in the ivory camisole is much more doable, but again, i felt the M just draped a little better on my frame. i think M is the safest bet for these items; i've been able to fit into smalls for much of this line, but the camisole fabrics have no stretch or give to them. anyway, hope this helps!

Thanks to babyladybones for pm-ing me back so soon:flower:

Loads of love to nogoodforme, jun3machina, lucy92 for the quick replies.

karma to all the ladies :D

i was actually talking about the silk jacquard pintuck cami the white paisley one, not the wallpaper one. sorry for the confusion! i didn't know the wallpaper one was pintuck haha.

regardless, looks like i'll be getting a medium in both the tie back top and the cami. i absolutely cannot wait!:woot: my bf is flying to L.A. tomorrow and i gave him the Pop up store location in west hollywood. Thank goodness his hotel is right near it too! i hope some of these items are still in stock there.

wow thanks shopdiary! the behnaz stuff is really holiday party ish. lots of velvet and lace! hmmm. i think i won't get too much from that line, although i like it. maybe the velvet babydoll dress and jeans?

Thanks, shopdiary! Karma to you for a fantastic find!
I do like a few pieces from the looks shown: the twill trench, the georgette layered dress, the patent leather jacket (though I have enough jackets already). Yes, very holiday party!

you're welcome! i'm not too keen on the velvet and lace pieces either but there looks to be promising, wearable pieces like:
  • twill trench coat in black (look 7)
  • black skinny denim jeans (look 9, 12 and 17)
  • satin trim bermuda shorts in black (look 15)
we'll see. can't tell much from the tiny pictures.
