People Who Have Class

While I wouldn't usually say it, I think Nicole Ritchie deserves a mention for her amazing turnaround.

I have a lot of respect for how much she's cleaned up her life. She's off the drugs, she looks so healthy and glowly. She seems to be enjoying a quieter life, she isn't the wild child so much anymore, and seems to be with her boyfriend most of the time. She's taking care of herself and it takes a lot of effort to transform your life like that, I think that's really admirable.

Audrey Hepburn
Grace Kelly
Jaqueline Kennedy Onassis
Gwyneth Paltrow
Cate Blanchett
Kate Bosworth

that's my list!

I guess it depends on how you define class......

originally, your class was determined by the job you have........ somebody who worked in a mine would be low class......where as a doctor who is well respected would be upper middle class........and upper class would ONLY be people who were born into arostocracy.

some people define class as etiquette....good manners, well spoken, poised, conservatively dressed

i dont think you can just say that somebody has 'class' because they are famous and appear to be a nice, well dressed person.

Sandra Bullock, not because she has a classy look but because she did a really classy thing.

Princess Diana

i know you are all gonna skit at me for saying so but just think about it, she is like 80 and she never looks scruffy i would say she has class but, the queen of england

audrey hepburn

I don't know what everyone will say about this but out of the under-25 group of celebrities I would have to sayyy (based mainly on style, attitude, and choices they've made, but no one's perfect)

Kirsten Dunst
Ashley Olsen
Mandy Moore
Nicole Richie (Only recently but I'm impressed with the change)
Scarlett Johansson
Natalie Portman
Margherita Missoni
Charlotte Casiraghi

Hana Soukupova... I think she's exquisite, and so classy.

In all seriousness I do as well, but when it's a celebrity, we have not much else to go on. We could talk about friends, family members, but no one would know who they were!

Funny, I don't think any of those people you listed have class, minus Missoni and Casiraghi. They may not skank themselves around as other celebs do, but they by no means have class.

Well how can we say for sure that they do/don't have "class" when we don't really know them?

Also, one of my favorite actresses Nicole Kidman, who I admire a lot for putting up with her philandering husband leaving her for someone who was (IMO) so not worthy of filling NK's shoes, and moving on to have an incredibly successful movie career. She's a great example of resilience and strength. I love her!!

actually since Tom Cruise was married to Mimi Rogers when he met Nicole you could say she got what she deserved. What goes around comes around. Just like what happened to Uma Thurman when they do it to the guys first wife to become the second wife then act all hurt and innocent. Nicole was dating someone , actually living with someone else when she met Tom and never even called the guy to tell him it was over . She never came back and he knew it was over when he was watching the oscars and saw her on Tom Cruise's arm. I don't think he cheated on her either. The end of a marriage , when you fall out of love with someone it is better to move on.

Oldies:
Audrey Hepurn
Katherine Hepurn
Grace Kelly
Vivian Leigh
Olivia De Havilland

Present Day
Meryl Streep
Jodie Foster
Nicole Kidman
Claire Danes
Emmy Rossum
Kate Winslet
Cate Blanchett
Julianne Moore
In a way I think the epitome of class is Mother Teresa- she lived her life entirely for others

classy, appearance-wise (although i wouldn't know for sure)

uma thurman, nicole kidman, charlotte casiraghi (she's gorgeous now, but she's going to be BIG TIME GORGEOUS v. soon), elise crombez, angelina jolie (now, not before)

I agree, Sean.

Slightly OT: I dislike the term "classy". It makes me shudder.

'class' is ... ok, for lack of a better term sometimes.
