I just finished this.. and was sorta proud... it's for my experimental handbags class.. the instructor told us to do something interesting that we've never done before or seen before... I made all sorts of detachable wristlets.. or it can just be a clutch.

my favorite part about it is the hardware. i used one of those curved barbells instead of a simple o-ring

Luna, I love it! It's very unique and the hardware is a nice touch. I've seen a couple of your other bags in other postings, and you are quite talented.

How long have you been taking the class? Is this something that you plan to make a career of?

I'd love to see more!

:)

Thanks DallasDiva! :) I'm majoring in accessories design.. now in the bachelor's program... I graduate next spring with hopes of designing.

I love it :flower: I've never seen a bag with interchangeable wristlets before- its a really great idea. I saw in an earlier post that you're at FIT? What program are you in? PM me back if you want- I am thinking about the textile design program at FIT and was wondering if have taken any classes within that program and could share :)

i love copper and the hardware is my fave part too...the interchangeable handles are very cool...excellent work, i'd say!! :flower:

hehe, Slinky.

Thanks for your comments, Paprika and softgrey!

I like it very much. I especially like the half-circle hardware and the bronze-colored leather.

You are a very skilled craftswoman and I am mightly impressed by your accessory-creating prowess!

I'm digging the hardware. Good Job. Hope you get a really great grade.

I would so carry that on South Beach
is that a good thing or a bad thing, Alejandro?

very cute. it reminds me of those little boxes that fold into that shape that stores give you during the holiday season that are used for off shape items. I really like it.

That's what I was inspired from, Ocean. I had a packaging design class last semester .. the teacher showed us all sorts of boxes... I thought it would make for an interesting handbag design. :)

Luna - You should be so very proud of your acomplishment - its a very nice bag, i could see that selling very quickly. How long did it take to make?
Best wishes for your classes
