"Popped" Collars

I don't mind the look but it seems that its only the really arrogant cocky guys that do it and I hate those types of guys

I think if its done so deliberately it can look terrible. (like the AE and AF crowd) Most are tryhards in their own right but I think it can be done nicely. I sometimes pop my collar but only the back and I flatten the front. I think the popped collar look should be left to other pieces of clothing with collars like peacoats and collared buttons ups. Its horrifying to see middle aged men with popped collars in pink or purple Lacoste or Burberry shirts.

alot of the companies (A&F, American Eagle, Hollister) are putting something on the back of the collar so when you "pop" it you have a logo or something..how tacky.

i'm glad i'm not the only one..

I was at Trader Joes today and I saw a lady with a pink popped collar & green capris. The worst thing is, she couldn't have been younger than 65 YEARS OLD. Her capris were up to her boobs & she had one of those preppy ribbon belts with a flamingo on it. I almost died laughing.

haha oh no, i just realised i do it...not 2 be fully awesome though, its just a habbit...our school uniform is polo shirts, you dont even notice when you do it after awhile...but some people wear a polo ontop of a polo and have 2 "popped" collars going @ once (usually 2 different colours)...

Or the rednecks (they love muddin', huntin', george bush, gigantic trucks, country music, hate cities and democrats) that have a lot of money. So they wear polos with the necks popped and have they're oakleys hanging around thier neck all day. I can't wait to graduate...
