I'm always surprised by how Porter consistently churns out beautiful covers. This is beautiful, but I agree about the hair. The wet hair in the face look can work, but there's something awkward about the way it lays on her face here.

Same here!! I think the image is very beautiful regardless. Daria always manages to look stunning under Mikael's lens.

This is SO perfect! Dirt on her, messy hair, and yet i want more!! They are killing it with their covers, and content, every issue has at least something that i LOVE, and they always get their covers shots right!

Breathtaking!!! Is this a subscriber's or alternate cover? I absolutely must have it. The composition, the contrast of her skin against the wood looks so good. At best I'm not a fan of Daria's 'bare' stories, but Porter is really pulling me in with these covers.

It's refreshing to see Daria styled differently from the usual/VP styling.

It reminds me of parts of her Prada perfume commercial. I love raw Daria.

Both covers are gorgeous and I'm really excited to see the main edit, given that it's Mikael Jansson's first proper collaboration with Alex White (whose unerring eye for the sublime is clearly being put to good use here).

As per usual Porter delivers, long may it do so. Even if I think there are a few aspects of the issue that could do with improvement, there is always something to love, as Miss Dalloway says, in each issue.
