Prada F/W 09.10 : Anna, Katlin, Kendra, Julia & Ymre by Steven Meisel

Eyewear & another mainline image. Kendra is looking amazing in the eyewear ad.

DO NOT QUOTE IMAGES

Image Credit | Scanned by me from Elle & W August 2009

The only image I like is the 2nd group shot.
I think this would look better with only Ymre and Julia on the right.
The girl on the front look miserable.
I prefer last season campaign. It was far better than this.
So far, this has been quite boring ...I just hope that it'll get better as more images appears.:o

I wonder why the fifth picture was flipped, the beauty spots are in the wrong place.
Thanks for posting slow hands.

I will go against the grain and say that I really dig this campaign. The colors, clothes and girls are so luxe and deep. Very intense and kind of sexy.

I really like what I see so far.

great minds think a like, because i like this campaign too ^_^

ooh both kendra and ymre have the exact same beauty spot, in the same position.
maybe thats what russel digs at the moment!
i like it, but it wont stick in my mind.
though i do want the velvet bags, so if anything its convinced me to buy one of them!

ugly campaing ohh good prada need change the photographer this is very bad

Ok, so I was holding out judgment until I saw more and now that I have I have no qualms about saying that I hate this.

The clothes aren't displayed particularly well, the backdrop is bland (despite the intentionally fake looking water, which just looks odd), the girls don't look particularly good and I don't think it has anything to do with the hair/makeup, and the images themselves are just lifeless. The colors are beautiful, but that's all the positive I'm able to wring out of these images. I wasn't really expecting for this campaign to be better than last seasons', but I liked the show enough that I wasn't expecting to hate it either.

i agree 110%.

Overall it's weak...
I don't want to bring this discussion back again, but I feel I have to say it... It would be so much better to have Sasha again, imo.

Same here. After seeing the whole thing, there are crappy pictures as well as there are good ones, but I'm liking it more. I do feel like the clothes are not displayed propperly. There were so many things I felt these ads could develop, like a gladiatorium or a countryside but overall it's decent. This is more an accessories campaign...

I'm really loving the coats picture. I think there's a nice exposure of the coats and the matching bags.

Yes, it sure was. I saw this one in magazine and it's in the right direction (the opposite one).

they all look like someone is holdin an object in front of them
as if they are at the eye doctor and he is telling them to follow the object
wherever it goes with your eyes..in this case he kept it in front of them

the best shots as far as i'm concerned are the eyewear & shoes...the others are so..meh

they could've done a lot more with this campaign :/
