Prada F/W 09.10 : Anna, Katlin, Kendra, Julia & Ymre by Steven Meisel

^ Haha sad but true I only liked the dramatic mood in the
shoes ad as well, the rest looked too calm and insipid for this incredible collection

The fake water shadow kinda ruins it for me a little bit

It's still a great campaign, not as great as last season though.

Last season will be hard to top!
But I agree, the fake water is terrible. They should have gone on location.
Would have been much better

this whole campaign is blasphemy compared to what Prada use too look(circa Daria and Sasha).Kendra is a beautiful girl but she obviously doesn't have the face for eye-wear. Ymre is the most impressive out of the lot.

kendra and ymre do look the best, i love the dark mood of the campaign. katlin is a bore though.

I like the ad, not as much as the spring/summer one, however i have to be picky and say that i really do not like the hair

I am so behind all you guys. Oh well....looking through the new VP with Daria on cover and seeing this a few pages in, and I dont know these girls! Can someone be so kind to in clockwise order ID them? :flower:

fashiongonerogue

From left to right: Kendra Spears, Julia Hafstrom, Anna Jagodzinska(?) and Katlin Aas(?).

It's OK, but it definitely is far from being one of the best Prada ads.
Not gonna lie, I miss seeing Prada ads with Sasha.

Me too, hence my question!

Thank you Flashbang.

I like Ymre's face, intrigued by her the most.

i hate the hair style and the models, especially anna de rijk, her face is so puffy: s
and i hate this collection. too much leather...

What a remarkable campaign!

So superior in every way, to my taste. I love how the girls look like serene sirens of the modern times; also almost like gemstones like ruby, citrine, topaz and amethyste personified. Like sirens of the Nordic seas, treacherous beauties seducing the sailors and the night through the moonlight.

I love the way the clothes are displayed here, and those savage impression on the faces. The colors, the encre noire sea, the darkness set in... The glimpses of the moonlight reflected from the alabaster marble skins of these mythic creatures... Everything is supremely magical, and so fashion-forward. I particularly love the Duchess of Devonshire hair. (of course here, in its 'Prada-ified' version) The Prada team has been truly brave in their creative ventures. I love this campaign as much as I loved last season's. These latest two are the only ones that excited me this much since the untouchable days of Ms. Werbowy.

The only shot I am not crazy about is the one with 3 of them wearing those gorgeous fisherman boots, but only one wearing the gladiator peacock pumps... if it were up to me, I would make her wear the boots as well to create continuity. I am a perfectionist like that, but it is a small defect, and I'll let it slide.

A stunning and season-defining collection, and a campaign worthy to its power. Mrs. Prada; you and your ruby-colored collection are both fantastic.
