Prada F/W 2015.16 Milan

Maybe it was just me, but I was a bit disappointed. I do love the pastel colors though!

For me, it feels like she's doing her "Greatest Hits remix". I can see all reference and the same cutting from previous season and then put some new thing in the tailor and details. But overall it's nice tho.

I really like this! I loved the 60s mod vibe I was getting from the collection. There were some looks that were very first lady-ish to me but I still love it. Preppy, chic, everything. It's a toned down version compared to last fall's...

But the only thing is that this is more likely for a Spring collection

Lovely collection. So awfully sweet with such a dark Prada twist.

In love with Prada yet again! It is slightly Miu Miu yes, but something about the mood and cuts are very Prada to me. Interestingly, the shoes don't bother me, I think they go great with the feel I get for the collection. Especially in the latter half they looked great.
The highlight for me was the gorgeous ostrich leather pieces! I would want every single one of them! :crush: Especially in motion they looked so beautiful and soooo soft.
However, I find it hard to reconsile this prada woman with the one from the last couple of fall shows. There is just something to far removed, I don't think it will appeal to all of the current customers except the very hardcore Prada fans.

This reminded me a lot of Raf's Fall/WInter 2014 outing for Dior, actually, with the color blocking and the paneling and the rounder shapes.

Exactly... This made me think of the multicolored jumpsuits from the last couture collection for some reason, but this is sooo much better than anything he has produced. In general, it's always felt like he draws a lot from Prada.

This collection does look very futuristic, which I love here and has been what Raf wants to angle for I think. I get all sorts of vibes from 70's and 80's sci fi movies mixed with sweets and cotton candy:lol:
When I think of Prada I always feel history, especially in the fall collections. This was a lot more fresh, colorful and young. There is a sort of weight and seriousness usually that was a little missing here. If she had captured more of that in combination with all the other things already there, it would probably have lifted this collection to another level.
Maybe this, S/S 2014, S/S 2012, S/S and F/W 2011 marks a new direction for the brand, it is most exiting!

Prada by Miu Miu, it's nice, but basically we've seen all the elements already before.

Don't really care if it resembles of Miu Miu or not but this collection is literally amazing. Season after season Miuccia always delivers.

Only Miuccia can give a familiar-looking collection but still be completely different at the same time!! I've seen her do pastels, architectural shapes, 60's vibe, innocent theme etc, but this collection still seems fresh, new, and vibrant!! I am completely in live with it!! ♡♡

I love the two piece suits with the fur pannels!

I have no idea how she manages to mix so much color without it making my head spin!

completely obsessed with this collection! the concept, the colours, the fabrics, and silhouettes, yet again Miuccia delivered the goods.

I was watching the Gucci and Moschino FW18 shows and, because of the setting (Gucci) and colors (Moschino), I remembered this collection. This was the last Prada collection that I really liked. I love the straight-to-point approach, the clothes constructions, the mood and how less 'cerebral' this collection was. I wish that her come back to work with neoprene, im done with that Miuccia x Nylon thing.

Looking at this collection makes me so happy! I love everything, from the pastel colors to the silhouettes!

It was not neoprene, however, but wool twill that was somehow modified to look like neoprene.

When I touched the fabric at the showroom installation, oh honey, it was the gag of the season.

It's a beautiful collection. It's very un-referential so it will age quite well. Lineisy's debut in the delicious green ostrich coat was perfection. The model and the clothes worked in perfect harmony. That was a true fashion moment!

I forgot to say about the bags. Gosh, the bags! Together with the SS12 clutches, they are my favorite Prada bags of this decade.

Oh yes, you right. I read something at that time that was saying that the fabric was neoprene, but now I just googled it and found out that is actually a double-faced jersey.
