I get a strange Marc Jacobs vibe from this collection, perhaps its the styling or just going a step to faar, but not in a good way.I like how clean and pristine it feels but i hate the fabrics, i resent the cheap gold and despise the shoes.
There is only couple of looks i like, and its mostly the black ones.
While there are still undoubtedly pieces to ogle (the topsy turvy fetishy heels, the bemusedly brothely bags, and the lustrously flaxen robes de la saison) this was admittedly a madhat – and not in her usual, wonted endearing sort of way – mid-decade regression for Miuccia. ...And that's coming from perhaps the most diehard of Prada devotees!
Wow, I really liked how every fabric looked so RAW.
Love how everything looked very unfinished. Very interesting, finally a show worth looking at. Just like she did with lace for winter, the she's definitely going to set a trend for summer with all the python and the metallic crinkled fabrics......
Love this. And love the deconstructed "en lambeau" skirts. BRILLIANT!
I like some of it... hate some of it. The 8-bit looking tetris print is pretty cheesy but there is good to balance the bad. I like the provocative aspects but I really don't like certain things such as the gold... and those shoes, they're so not worth tripping over.
I think I shall have to wait for the editorials to see anything overwhelmingly good about this collection (like with Fall 08/09). Right now the only thing I want is the make-up and hair.
