Though Daniel V's was not my fave- it still looks great considering the fact that he had to work with only other people's scraps and the pattern material.
Im sure he would have had an amazing design had he picked the correct fabric.

I can't believe Nicky thinks she has what it takes to not only "design" fashion but to try to judge it too. It sickens me that there are so many talented designers out there and Nicky by default gets a line just because her folks are loaded.... her handbags are seriously nasty. I seriously have never seen anyone use her bags except for herself and Paris. Has anyone else?

Haha.. when someone mentions her bags... they're always like "Those ones with the numbers on it?".

I didn't like Chloe's dress. I thought it was poorly sewn and it looked too similar to her winning dress. C'mon, she could have chosen different colors, but no she didn't. I guess blue and black are colors.

New episode tonight, riiiight? I was disappointed that one week they didn't show a new one.

First of all, I love this show. I think it demonstrates both the dramatic schmoozy side, and the practical (materials/deadlines/competition) side of the fashion industry. These designers are so lucky to even be on the show, even if they lose and are kicked off, the exposure and challenges and feedback alone would be worth it I think.

As far as the last episode with Nicky Hilton, I think it was smart to have a party before the runway showing. And it is my opinion that the only thing that secured Santino as the winner of this one was his attitude. He really sold himself to Nicky - she was impressed when he gave her his card, and she commented that he had what it takes to succeed in this business. She gets people kissing her *** all day long, so I think she really demands it and loves when someone swoons over her (comments on her eye color) and I'm sure she respects cockiness and brazen behavior. I think her respect for the dresses had a lot to do with her respect for the designers and the impressions they made on her at the party. She said she didn't think Marla had the passion for her designs, she said how off-putting Guadalupe's explanation was, and the other judges also commented on how well Nick sold his dress to them. So I think that really shows how important it is for these designers to present themselves, and sell their own image - inspite of how much they are told to let their designs speak for themselves. I got a glimpse of how a rich socialite would value a designer's communication skills and intuition and loyalty, in looking for someone to cater to her wants.

I totally agreed with tonight's judging. I loved the winning outfit for BR. Meaning, they really thought about their customer. I totally see that on BR customers. I personally loved Emmett and Chole's outfit the best though.

Santino needs to listen and hear. He just rolls his eyes too much and has an ego the size of Texas.

Thank god we were all put out of our misery as far as Marla is concerned. Dirty Diana...CYA. That outfit stunk. How lame.

Come on! Do you think Marla and Diana listened either? I agree Santino should have been axed because he doesn't listen, but they never will because he makes for good TV. Nobody stands a chance trying to go against the 'Great Santino.' Nick would not have deserved to have been cut.

I agree 100% Santino makes for better TV but I don't buy Nick's explanation he was hesistant to join Santino. I think he's not 'fessing up he wanted to pair himself up him. And yes--I do think Marla and Diana listened, they just didn't execute a polished look.
