Nick is emerging as a major dark horse. Am I the only one who is not overly impressed with Santino's talent? He is interesting, but not very wearable.

I am also not at all wowed by Chloe. All her looks are very simple and similar and, in my opinion, not very well cut for most people. I love scooter dresses (and collect vintage ones, actually!) but was not impressed with the one she made at all.

I think Nick has a lot of talent and I also find Diana very interesting (and adorable!) but I think her vision still needs to evolve and mature a bit.

This episode surprised me a bit. First, I never expected Santino to win this one. Second, how the hell is Marla still in the race? She sounds like an intelligent businesswoman, but a designer she is not. Third, Nicky Hilton?! What a waste

I agree, she's defnitley not a designer.

I also noticed that Marla was trying to copy another model's hairstyle.I, in all honesty, can't help but to feel sorry for the woman. I mean she's in a competiton with younger people (excluding Emmett), and people who actually know what's going on in today's fashion scene (that's where Santino and Nick come in). And she's totally out of the loop. Designer or not, it's not that hard to design a party dress.

Did anyone else hear Marla say "F***** A!". What person beyond 30 years of age says that?!

Marla should have gone, I'd rather wear something original and be on the worst dressed list, than play it safe with something uninspired.

On the previous episode, Tim Gunn (on his podcast) said that santino argued with the judges for 90 minutes

She draws from that SoCal aesthetic too if you look at her line of clothing. Screenprinted t-shirts and sweatpants... that's not fashion-fashion. It's not only bad, it's lazy design.

it is only editing that makes it seem so. Nick had one of the best outfits in the semifinals; he did win the Barbie episode; and he IS the one who says 'hell, yes, I'm going to win this" in the opening credits. He's been my pick to win from the beginning.

I thought Nick should have won too. I liked Daniel's dress as well. Am I the only one who liked Andre's? The guy is a total train wreck, but he pulled that one off, IMO.

Marla looks pained to still be there. They should put her out of her misery. And ours.

Zuliema's dress kind of reminds me of something that Sass & Bide would have. I dont really love it but it reminds me of their geometric kind of look.
I cant even believe people are willing to pay 50 bucks for either of Guadalupe's or Marla's dresses.

I'm sorry but I can't beleive someone is actually going to pay $300 for Chloe's design! You could find the exact thing in Bloomingdales! Give me a day and some fabric, and I could make it my damn self.

The only one I would be willing to buy and would actually wear myself would be Kara's design. So chic.

I saw the whole episode, they were making a big sh*t of Nicky, who is really ugly (got a schnoz).

Anyways, Guadalupe's dress was hideous...Insanely hideous, I loved the complicated ruching and stuff in the back, more of that would have been lovely. I looved Chloe's dress, it was soo lovely. Diana's was sort of raw, should have been a tad more refined. Marla's was extremely poorly sewn, just looking at it I knew it was kinda half-***ed. Santino, I actually hate that dress, looking at the closeup it was just knotted and braided and ugh, rather dull. I liked Nick's but it was rather uneventful. Daniel Vosovic, he just reminds me of Tom Ford soo much! I mean tight dress with pleating and that super sexy hair. Daniel Franco would have exceeded in this challenge, oh well...

Nick's was eventful.. I think if he put more thought into the skirt of the dress instead of just slapping a fishtail asymmetric thing onto it.. it would've been great... maybe layered a few different fabrics... His dress was a great color for Nicky... and the back was nice... but the skirt, blah. Santino does seem to have a very small bag of tricks... he just keeps doing the same braided crap!! If next week he does more braiding, I swear to god...

Chloe's designs are simple I agree.. and I don't think she'll win this competition, but she will still probably gain success out of this show.

LOVE Kara's dress. LOVE LOVE.

Still would've liked to see what Daniel Franco would've done with this challenge.



PS: I HATE MARLA'S MODEL... she's the picky one. she's so stiff and awkward looking... she needs to gooo.

Not at all! I also loved Andre's dress. He's got talent, even though he is a little insane. Since this is reality TV, come to think of it, he's both insane enough and talented enough to stay in for awhile.

Not that I shop there or anything but I thought Andre's dress was nice but something that I might find at Banana Republic. If they had done a BR competition again, I think he would have won

I can't believe Nicky thinks she has what it takes to not only "design" fashion but to try to judge it too. It sickens me that there are so many talented designers out there and Nicky by default gets a line just because her folks are loaded.... her handbags are seriously nasty. I seriously have never seen anyone use her bags except for herself and Paris. Has anyone else?
