I was really stoned last night and realized how dumb this show is. Between Kors's caked on make up, Daniel's ludicrous sense of accomplishment, and the awful clothes, the whole thing is a farce. It's what middle americans with no clue think High Fashion is. Kor's gets free advertisement without the risk of alienating his clientelle. Could you imagine Yohji or even Mcqueen on this show judging? How much of his clients he would lose? The contestants, who are hopeless to begin with, are lured into a false envrionment of acheivement. But, alas, you can see the future that awaits the winner with Jay Mccaroll. I suppose you could call him a joke of the fashion industry but they have better things to laugh at. He's a caricature of what everyone expects a bitchy gay male designer is. Would you see Marc Jacobs or even...Michael Kors showing his *** off in public? Do REAL designers do that? And then he isn't even a good designer.

It's good television, and nothing more. I am suprised Tim Gunn let Parsons get sucked into this awful mess.

Bravo is taking reallity television's appeal of granting dreams for no effort and they are aestheticizing it. In comes repackaged with a gay/hip/posh slant. But of course, it isn't really Hip, it's what people think "Hip" is supposed to be. It's pretty disgusting actually. I am suprised I let myself get duped.

i think the episode was kinda weird for me..
knowing that all four of 'em were showing at fashion week anyways..even if kara's doesn't get aired..there's still pictures and people know it happened.....you know? it was like 'why am i bothering watching it??' lol.
i feel like kara was always trying to do something to please the judges, instead of doing something more 'her', and from seeing her collection, she should've went that way the whole time!! lol. it woud've beena lot more interesting. i noticed she always seemed to stick to dark colors, but she would wear something colorful and interesting....
i really like her....
and i'm sad to say, all of the dresses for this challenge left me feeling like 'huh????? that's it??' they all went tooo simple, and they all did much more interesting things throughout the show....this was a very anticlimactic episode, imo...

I agree. I think all 4 of them got really deflated in this episode, like they all lost their spark. I was especially surprised at Chloe, who made this THING like her heart wasn't in it. Poor Kara... I liked her collection most of all from the Fashion Week pics. Maybe they were all just tired in this episode...

I love her in the opening of each show when she says "Everybody here is crazy!" in her South African accent. I love it! I have been saying it non stop all week. It cracks me up. She realy grew on me and seem like a great person.
