i watched last night.... that one guy, santino or whatever, is greasy looking... whatever, he's a good designer. i'm glad daniel franco got kicked off, he was kinda crazy.

ugh, santino was just so gross this episode. first he insults diana and her team, then he designs that crapfest, and mouthes off to the judges

really, i saw this coming though. in his past designs he overdesigned, they just looked good. his first piece had all those ruffles on the collar and the barbie was all ruffles. he embellishes. i liked him at first and hes good to keep for the drama, but hes turning out to be a one trick pony.

and wtf at those pants for lingerie?????



and i cant believe no one has mentioned dianas model problem. wtf is the matter with that girl. she refuses certain hair and makeup and wont wear the outfit. wtf is se doint being a model

i did like diana's the best. daniel v's was boring and seemed to be illfitting to me. daniel f shouldnt have been eliminated. i dont think his looked the same more so than daniel vs or dianas. and so what if its older, plenty of designers work for older audiences.

santino should have gone, but he didnt because he won the first one.

Santino has a major 'tude problem. I liked him at first for his first turquoise dress... but started to second guess when he threw a hissy fit when he didn't with the Barbie Challenge.

I don't think Daniel should've went... I think Santino should've gone.

Daniel's stuff was targeted towards an older market.. but it was the only collection that actually looked like you would be able to find it in a store...meaning it was the only one that was executed perfectly.

The Daniel F's "revenge" crap looked like you could find it in JCPenney's.. very boring.. and they coudln't even take the time to tie the girls necktie STRAIGHT.

Diana's... while I liked her ideas on paper... her vision didn't exactly translate on the runway. And wtf was up with that model! You're right, masquerade... but if I was diana, I woudl've went up to Mr. Timothy Dunn Gunn whatever... and said ... "Uh, hey, this model doesn't want to do her job, boot her *** out and get the girl that was eliminated back in.. I know she'll wear a thong."

Santino's collection was terrible.

What I think was so CHALLENGING about the lingerie design was the fact that almost everything has been done in lingerie... the point was to make it look like lingerie but add a personal flair to it. Not just come up with costume-y reindeer and "elves on crack" outfits. And when Santino tried to defend himself by saying "everything has been done".. blah blah... Well, Duh... that's the point.. the judges know that everything has been done... they want to CHALLENGE you... they don't want you to go off in a completely different direction.

I think Nick is a good designer.. I hope he wins.

Seriously. That model annoyed me. You are there to wear the designers clothes and make them look beautiful. If you're going to whine about your hair, your body, your this, your that then you need to find another job.

They should give her job to someone more deserving.

Overall, I think Nick has enough talent + personality to win this reality show.

My fave to watch is Santino. I love his personal style, creativity, vision, attitude. Either his drama will help him stay on the show or opposite. I quite like that he mouths off to the judges, Nina, in particular. With the lingere collection -Nina "It's not aesthetically pleasing". But it was interesting and visually spectacular, though obviously still off. Nina's the fashion editor for Elle- how different is Elle from Haarpars or whatever. Elle is like Vogue-lite, a step up in refined taste than Instyle. Nina's opinion on Galliano or MCQueen... whatever... Still respect for her success though.

Though it was pathetic for Santino to call out Emmett, Emmett is dead weight though. His design for the Clothes Off Your Back Challenge-ugh. the shrug looked like someones *** hanging off the girl's shoulder in the back.

Daniel V's collection- yawn, whatever.

Diana - really liked her red clothes off you back design and unique design philosophy in general But the lingere? Give me a black bikini, yards of black ribbon and some scarves --- same thing.

Daniel F- was okay. Too similar, but pretty.

Yea.. I agree that Emmett was dead weight... but he was trying and he was participating.. sometimes though, trying to help when you know nothing about the process is often detrimental.

I don't understand how Marla and Emmett can still be in this competition and not know how to drape a mannequin or do patterns OR SEW.

But Emmett still seems like a very nice person.. just not skilled.

I really like Chloe, she seems very sweet, but I still think that Nick V. has the most design talent, has the best personality, etc.

as much as I like Diana as a person, her reactions are often very odd... and very child-like.

When Heidi suggested a wind fan for the runway, Diana let out this very awkward giggle/laugh thing...

And since Santino brought it up... I wonder if Diana HAS ever had sex.

I agree with you all about the model who wouldn't wear a thong and such, making Diana change her design. I'm sure if she were go into a real fashion show and she said such a thing, she's be fired.

Ooh I love Project Runway...especially this season! it's sure full of characters, is it not?

I guess I'll give my opnion on each of the contestants

Andrea - I really don't have much opinion towards him. Accept I thought is barbie doll design was hideous. And he behaves childish, not professional at all.

Chloe - Probably my favorite designer at the moment. I have loved all her designs thus far and appreciated the fact that she aims to make her clothing flattering and wearable. She absolutely deserved the "clothes off your back" challenge. Besides that, she honest without being unneccisarily rude (Santino!) and seems to be pretty professional to me. Go Chloe!

Daniel F - Sad to see him go. I thought he was a nice guy and a good designer. But he did need to learn time constraints and such. I could understand his teamates frustration in the lingerie challenge. And at least he left the shwo with dignity Gonna miss him

Daniel V - Another designer I am indifferent too. His designs are okay, but a little safe? I don't know much about his personality, he seems to be in the background a bit at the moment, hope to see more of "him" soon.

Diana - I love this girl's quirkyness. The fact that she is shy and akward and introverted makes her relateable. I used to be very akward like her too! but she's still young (I feel weird saying that, she's older than I!) and I am sure her exposure on PR2 will make her more...hmm...comfortable in social settings? As for her designs, I like them (aside from the first. It had a neat concept, but I thought it was ugly) and I liked her lingerie line. it was pretty and fluttery and yay! It was a bit costumey, but hey, don't some people like to roleplay in bed? It was great lingerie for the creative lovemakers. Lol.

Emmett - Hmm, I like the guy himself. is designs are so-so. i hate the barbie one, I thought it looked like some ugly ugly nightgown. The material looked tacky and yucky to me.

Guadalupe- her designs seem earthy to me and a little retro. They don't relly coincide with my personal taste, so I can't say I'm much a fan of her. but i think she has great potential.

Heidi - I LOVED the dress she designed but it was rather simple. Pity. But i would wear it! She was cute though, her mannerism, but boderline annoying...Her perkyness was a little overt? Still, she was so cheerful, at least she left with a smile.

John - Didn't like the dress he designed, glad he's gone, although he was nice.

kara - oh she annoys me! But I like her designs....except for the barbie one. Well i liked the hat, tee hee. But that ruffled jean skirt was ugly. not sure how far she'll make it.

Kirsten- Didn't care for her designs and didn't know much about her, other than that she was nice.

Marla - WHY is she on this show? she can't sew! And her designs are uglllllyyyyyyyy, matronly, and gaudy. I don't like her self-taughy badge she wears either, who cares? Self-taught or not, she can't keep up at the rates she's going.

Nick - He's very talented and definately deserved to win the Barbi challenge (In your face, Santino!). I like him too. He's one lof my favorites.

Raymundo - Didn't care for his designs but I LIKED him. Aww

Santino - Arggggghhhhhhhhhhhhh. I really dislike him. he's talented but his designs have gone down hill from the first espidoe. The lingerie line? ugh! he embellishes WAY TOO MUCH. I couldn't imagine trying to seduce someone in those awful getups he created. Besides that, he is a JERK. And a BABY. There's no ounce of professionalism in him at all. he can't accept criticism, defeat, anything at all that challenges his ego. I could go on all day about why i think Santino should go home...but I won't.

Zulema - Don't like her, don't like her designs. that's it.



That took awhile for me to write. But i can't wait for the next episode! Who do you think the socialite could be? Paris hilton maybe? Can't stand the girl, but that would be interesting.

I cannot believe that I missed this episode. It was so good too! I'll have to catch it this weekend or next week when it's one. I already know Daniel Franco is gone. But I didn't hear much about the whole Santino, Diana's model..etc.

From what I've read, it sounds like Diana's model had some insecurities and made Diana change the design? If that's right, that is complete and utter BS! Designers will put models on the run way with their breasts hanging out, see through clothing and everything in between. If a model doesn't want to wear the clothes, there are millions more where they came from. Heidi Klum just walked the catwalk only months after having a baby in Victoria's Secret Lingerie. If she can do it, so can this young lady.

I have noticed that Emmet is dead weight. I personally think that he is only still there because he was a former student of Tim Gunn's. During auditions he said that Emmet was one of his students/collegues, which is a conflict of interest if you ask me. Especially since Emmet can't do crap.

I remember seeing Santino few months ago at the LA S/S fashion week backstage at Pegah Anvarian's show. He was like assistant designer or something like that. When I saw the show it was so wierd that he was on it. LOL

I think daniel f's being booted was a travesty. His lingerie collection wasnt amazing but i would wear any of those a million times before santino's tacky collection of laderhosen. PLus his attitude was really lame to blame his team who had no choice but to go along with his tacky ideas.

Furthermore, the other daniel with the menswear inspired collection was not so interesting to be the highest rated. I can make that at home by just putting on a black bra nad panties and some french cuffs or a tie.

Daniel's exit was most definitely a travesty -- but I think he'll go far in the industry. Or at least, I hope very much so that he does.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who suspects that producers wanted Santino's continuous presence on the show just for his personality nowadays and played a part in the elimination process...
