Poor Emmet Not only did he lose to Santino's "design" but he was dismissed wearing that awful hot pink skater's outfit...talk about adding insult to injury

I've been in Santino's corner all along, but after designing what was essentially a bird costume for the last challenge I definately think he's going to have to start infusing some more realistic ideas into his designs. Wasn't really blown away with any of the outfits last night, I'd say Andrae's was the best.

This episode was too funny.. from the skating costumes they had to wear to skating on the ice... I generally haven't liked Santino but he was kind of humorous about his *gasp*... flaws... of the over-use of trims and embellishments. In the sewing room, he was joking around about what Michael Kors might say once he saw his thanksgiving skating getup in the judging... not quoted exactly but he said something a long the lines of "oh my god, that is like a baboon's *** just exploded on her back side".

sigh! i totally agree that it was santino's turn to go. he cant design for anyone but his greasy haired,homeless-looking self! stubborn stubborn.

besides, right after credits it says that decisions are finalized by producers, completely backing up the fact that santino IS just good tv. i find it very frustrating but i'll never stop watching!

I think, like last year, the judges will bring Santino up to the final four. And he will be eliminated. Just like Austin. They both have the same problem, they are so in love with their designs that they don't realize that they aren't making the customers happy. I'm not saying water down your imagination, but give your clients something to work with while maintaining your vision.

I haven't read all the posts, but I just have to say that I think Kara and Daniel have such a cute relationship. I think it was adorable when he went over and kissed her on the head after Zulema flipped out.

Both of them are my favorites, along with Chloe and Nick. =)

Also, I love that even Santino's model said that his design was too much.

Ok guys I really don't know if Santino will be out on the episode due to the fact he might create something that looks like someone elses design which happens to be Austin Scarlett', is not the dress he's copying or who knows (we have to see Wednesday) but the fabric. what you guys think the judges will say? Or what will Jay say as of him seeing that fabric before and as the special guest judge? I hope the task is somewhat better than the challenge of this week. Heres a picture of what I'm reffering to for those who may not know what I'm speakig about.

and at last a model race on the runway..Zulema asks Heidi she wants a model Walk off between three models the models in the walk off are Danyelle, Tarah and Shannon. Danyelle is Andre's model, Tarah is Nick's model and Shannon is Emmett's model. I'm sure she will choose Nicks model due to her strong walk, not one of my favorite I would choose Emmett's . She might stay with Rachael shes ok but who you think she'll choose.?

I just watched last PR's episode today, and I liked Zulema's dress the most for skating and Andre's for fashion. Santino's was gross.
Can't wait until next episode.

My question is, why would Santino design something that he knows the judges would hate? Part of being a good designer is not only staying consistent with your personal style (which he has definitely done and I give him credit for that), but also appealing to your target audience. Right now his target audience is the panel of judges and whoever they're designing for for the week. Ultimately, whoever wins will create a business where they will design to show their own unique style. But at the same time this is a competition. The judges aren't going to award ALL of that money, to someone that they don't believe in.

Nick is my favorite, however I wish he had more of a backbone. His meekness is holding him back. I also wish he didn't wear those hideous mirrored wrap around Bono sunglasses.

Because he is not a good designer. Yes, he may have an okay idea here and there.. but the whole point of being a designer is to design something targetted towards an audience and for it to actually SELL.




^^ And I totally agree about Nick and his timidity. I wish he'd get a little more ballsy. It's like Santino has too many balls and Nick has none.
