I must say, I'm very confused about Santino. In the beginning, I thought it was clear that whatever my opinion of him personally, he was the most talented one of the bunch. But for the last 3 weeks+ I feel like he's really gone downhill. I don't even like most of his designs anymore. I feel like I like him more as a person now but think less of his creations. Maybe he needs his arrogance in order to design well.

I am sad to see Andrae go. He grew on me. I was waiting for him to feak out and he didn't! Good. However, his run back stage with his arms plastered to his sides was so Andrae.

I totally agree with the comment about Santino. I hated him at first and loved his work. Now as I grow to like him more (great sense of humor) his works is lacking. I think he has been knocked down some notches and he seems slightly more humble.

I also liked Kara's dress the best, but agree that they could never give her immunity. She really pulled that one off though. Great job. I was also so impressed by her willingness to help Chloe. That was really cool. Class act.

That Tim Gunn impersonation was great. The best part is watching Daniel V. crack up. He is such a likeable person. I hope he wins. Very talented and the judges love him.

Chloe and Daniel are obviously going to make it to the final 3. The wild card is either Nick or Santino. Nick does have taste issues while Santino keeps making 5 year girl birthday party priness dresses. His designs lack cleverness and true elegance.

Daniel V I think has the right aesthetic but not technical skills or the breadth of approach. Can you imagine if Mcqueen was on this show? Or Chalayan?

I kind of disagree with what michael Kors said about Nick's designs being vulgar... I don't really see them as vulgar at all... but I do see them as more of a junior line... not as couture as most, ya know?

Santino showed all of his cards way too early... but I have to admit, I'm starting to like his personality more.. he has toned down the dramatic bullsh*t.

Kara will be gone next... it's a given.

Last night I attended the MIT Digital Fashoin show called Seamless 2.0

Diana Eng showed a couple pieces including her hoodie with the heart rate monitor hooked up to the digital camera on the hood and a couple knits based on mathematical sequences (fibonacci sequence... mandlebrot set...). She's just as tiny in real life hahaha.

I disagree with Michael's comment on vulgarity as well. Although the dress was not my style, I still didn't see it as vulgar.

...And I cannot wait for Kara to go home. I cannot believe that they chose to pick Karta over Zulemah. Zulemah may suck as a seamstress, but at least she had an idea. A tube dress with yellow stiped...UGH.

yes lol..I was waiting for Tim to say something abut that but he never did.
I'm shocked that the judges didn't like Nik's dress, I really thought it was one of the top three.

The auditorium was closed off today in school for Project Runway filming
Also, on my way out they were filming some talking sequence with Tim outside. I find it quite sad that I can see the head of my department on tv more than I've ever seen him in the 3 years I've been in fashion.
