kyle_yeung, I was also shocked to learn the Tim Gunn is an admited homosexual. He gave no clues during the show! He is very atractive and masculine, like a father. I wonder if the contestants during project runway knew and also if the administrators, faculty, and students at Parsons knew of his homosexuality before the interview came out.

^While I pretty much sensed that Tim Gunn was gay...or at least bi.....there have been some people I have actually KNOWN who I thought were gay. They weren't. I was wrong.
Just b/c you (or others) assume that he is, don't rag others for being surprised or unsure.

There were plenty of people who were unsure of Daniel V's sexuality....I had no question.....


To answer your question haruki, I'm sure everyone in Tim's circle (co-workers, friends) knew already. He doesn't act as if he hides it or anything.

One of my favorite lines last episode was when they found out they had to design one more outfit for their collection, and Santino said something about his collection already being so good that he could just slap some pasties and a maxi pad on his model and send her down the runway. HAHAHA!

I loved that one too!! He's really hilarious..

i honesly think that they were all
playing it safe this year.

i just saw the marathon of last year's
project runway & kara saun, jay &
wendy were all flashy & stuff.

& santino, daniel & chloe seem so
tamed compared to them. i was
expecting santino to at least be
a lot more flashy than that! hmm.

And I totally agree with that. I saw only a FEW season 1 episodes, but I did see the finale, with such extravagant clothes. I really liked Kara Saun's aviator theme, although some of the colors/designs were a little too Raven Symone, if you know what I mean (coming from a That's So Raven fan ) and Jay had wonderful eccentric stuff too. I don't really understand the safety of them this year...especially Santino?!

i'm soooo glad chloe won! she was my fav. from day 1 for sure..and i loved and was suprised by her 13th dress..soo happy..and glad i waited till the show to see their final outfits..

I was SO glad daniel and chloe were the bottom 2! I had this really bad gut feeling they were going to pick santino just for the hell of it! I'm SO glad for chloe however, it's a lifelong dream come true! CONGRATS CHLOE

I refused to look at the pictures posted and was truly suprised by all the collections. I really thought Daniel's was the strongest, the coats and details and everything were amazing. Chloe's was obviously strong as well, Santino's was just a mismatched upset.

Chloe's babydoll dress was impeccable! She IS a designer and a very good one. her clothes looked like they were factory manufactured that's what seperates her clothes from the others.

As for Santino he'll be a fixture in the fashion industry, no doubt. Don't be surprised if he'll be part of CDFA soon enough B)
