Project Runway Season 2

Santino fans - Don't be disappointed! I mean, Santino's going to be SO successful, I can just see it already! Plus, can you REALLY see him apprenticing for Banana Republic? I mean, seriously XD;; Even Jay turned it down.

I was SO underwhelmed by Daniel. His collection wasn't bad, but compared to what he's capable of and the potential he had shown ALL season -- truly mediocre. I wasn't influenced by Tim's words, either...100% my own opinion :( I'd trade a PR win for a job under MK, though! So he won't be dubbed as a loser at all in my head :)

Yay, my favorite dearest won! :) :)

She does such beautiful seaming and makes harsh fabric look gorgeous. I'm so proud of her and I hope to buy lots from her boutique someday! (If it's still there...)

So underwhelmed by Daniel :( But I was actually quite proud of Santino ^^
My thoughts exactly!
Chloe's collection was so nicely put together, and as Heidi said the seamlines were awesome.
Santino was definitely a close second for me, and Daniel's was surprisingly boring.

Ohwell, I like all three collections, and am really happy these were the final 3, unlike last season where there was Wendy Pepper -_-...still baffles me how she got there.
Anyway, how sweet was the Saturn Roadster at the end!
Great season, can't wait till the third one! :flower:

Chloe??

I missed the whole thing for the first time! I thought they'd play it 2 hours in a row like usual. :( Can someone give me a run down of the whole show tonight?? :blink:

haha Chloe's boyfriend is hot-- although, he looks like he's only with her because she's got money (having her own business and all) . lol he reminds me of Nigel Barker of ANTM.

Yes! I am so happy Chloe won; her collection was by far the best! I thought Daniel was going to win, but I'm happy he didn't. His collection to me was the worst: way too safe and boring.

:woot: :heart:

To me there was no competition in the final collections. Chloe blew Daniel and Santino out of the water. I'm so happy they made the right decision. Santino's collection was horribly unfocused, and Daniel's was just boring (very disappointed, Dan). Too bad Chloe can't name her line 'Chloe,' and 'Dao' is too close to 'Tao!'

Oh I am so happy!!!

I LOVED Chloe from Day One, but Daniel grew on me, but his final collection...? Blah. The only thing memorable from it for me was that white coat, or dress...or, whatever it was, I liked ittttttttttt!!!!!!!!

Santino, I loved some of his pieces, hated some others. But they were ill-fitted. I don't have much an eye for that I noticed that first thing.

Chloe! Oh her collection was beautiful! I adored it! There was only one dress that I didn't particularly care for (the third one shown I believe, but the back was nice) but still, hers definately left the best impression. I still can close my eyes and see all her garments, while with Daniel and Santino, I can only recall a select few.

Go Chloe! You deserved it!

perhaps she can name her line Chloe Dao Couture? Lot 8 (name of her boutique)? Chloe D? CD? :lol:

One final thought - Looks like Santino can't call Chloe just a "patternmaker" anymore ^^;;

that santino's line was too "tame" was bs!!! so mad at the judge's for saying that, but as much as i ADORE santino i knew he wouldn't win. his design was the least "sensible" of all the designers, but i love the fun and fantasy in his clothes. it was still there in his runway collection, it just looked more sophisticated. it was still unquestionably santino. lord i hope this isn't the last time we see santino. the minute he starts selling clothes...i'm buying them!!!!

daniel did pretty good for himself ... a job offer with kors. not too shabby for a new grad! :clap:

and remember...Derek Lam trained under Kors before he started his own line so Daniel is going to be soooo much better off. You pick...work at BR or with Kors and get REAL design experience.

Santino should work with Mcqueen

^Agreed! I feel that Chloe is capable enough to start her own line already, while Daniel and Santino can train under those you named and grow into even more incredible designers :)

^ good point.

i think daniel will do well with kors. i can't wait to see him start a line also. i really liked this final three much more than last year's.

Daniel can be boring...but so can Kors and Derek Lam but people like boring but not in a bad way.....but people like staples that you love and wear rather than the crazy stuff.

Santino would be great at Mcqueen...or maybe even Chloe or Prada to vamp it up a bit!

^You know, after seeing Chloe's collection this season, I feel like they could really use some Santino razzle-dazzle O_o;

Chloe as in the company, I mean XD

Was anyone else shocked that Chloe won ? I really liked her construction, but her fabric choice and silhouette were terrible ! Those little jacket/shrugs were beyond department store. There was very little design element in my opinion. The judges were so hung up on the collection telling a story, but what was Chloe's ? A walk through the "special occasions" dress department at Macy's ?

I thought Daniel's and Santino's collection were much more inspired. I thought either of them was a much better candidate.

This season lacked something as a whole compared to last year. Chloe winning was just another let down.

BINGO! excellent point! That's why they gave it to Chloe. git the picture? B)
