I know it's old, but opinions?

Renee in Chanel couture with Karl at his bookstore, 7L, left and Renne in YSL couture, right.

I remember a few years ago Anna alluded in a WSJ piece that she sort of conceived Renee's 'style'. I know its weird, but I've always found her insecurity and coy-ness extremely attractive, because on the flip side she's such an intelligent woman and a tremendous actress. And now this!
I just hope she gets back on the horse again. She's way behind Nicole Kidman, who was regarded as her equal during the 00's.

I saw a picture of her but didn't bother reading and I thought it was Naomi Watts (I looked at it real quick).

in motion she looks stunning, weird her stardom disappeared in those photos.

Agree, she doesn't look that bad in motion, and I love the tan. Nicole must be so relieved now, for once people can talk about someone else for a change.

The media spent years criticising her looks and now they're like why the hell did she do this. Self awareness is clearly not their strong point. This just saddens me.

This is so weird.
I read articles earlier this year that the media called her transformation stunning and said she looked really beautiful...

I was like WTH, how can you say someone who's altered her look so much that she doesn't even look like herself anymore is beautiful.

tbh, i don't think she looks that different. She's had a botoxed face since she's been in her late 20s, so no big difference here. Quite obviously she's got rid of her hooded eyelids, which I can totally understand having hooded eyelids myself. I don't judge.

To me she doesn't look that different, and most particularly, not surgery-different. I mean, she's gotten older since the first Bridget Jones movie came out, which is normal. I think she just looks older..

I think she looks vaguely like Robin Wright now. But imo, this new look makes her look older (than her normal look).

Well, to me eyes make the face. You can change your nose or lips as much as you want but i'll always be able to recognize someone by their eyes.

Her eyes are completely different. If her name wasn't under the pictures I would have never recognized her.

Gorgeous body though

I think she looks 100% different. I randomly showed several people the picture of the 'new' Renee and not one person could tell me who she was. They were stunned when I revealed the before picture.

I, myself am very stunned. This makes me sad. I think her features were really so unique and pretty and beautiful and set her apart from other actresses. I wonder what her thought process was behind this transformation. There's definitely some self hate there no matter how you slice it. I know we all have things we'd like to change and hey it's your choice. It just saddens me that she didn't recognize how beautiful she was before.

This is probably one of the most shocking transformations in Hollywood history and I don't think she'll be able to recover, nor do I think the media will let it go. Her face was very much a part of her brand.

to me she looks very different, but I got the feeling that she used Botox before and is now botox-free? You can see wrinkles..
