you dont just fly to another country thats pretty much half way around the world just to spend your birthday with a friend..

KRISTEN Stewart has revealed that Robert Pattinson once asked her to MARRY him!

The actress — who’s widely rumored to be dating her hunky Twilight costar — says the British actor went down on one knee — as a joke — to ask her for her in marriage

“He asked me to marry him,” Kristen, 20, told Britain’s News of The World newspaper.

“As a joke, though. Well, at least I think so!”

Rob, 23, recently revealed he has a “special bond” with Kristen.“Kristen and I have a special bond together, she is the sweetest, smartest and strongest girl I know,” he said during a magazine interview. “If we have a relationship I would rather not say, because my words get twisted around too much and can be ‘old news’ by the time this interview is printed.

“I’ve been linked to a lot of actresses in Hollywood, most of them I find too silly and shallow that I would not want to date them.”

The 20-year-old actress says she feels strongly for Pattinson because he has a childish side.

She says: “I love Rob because he always wants to be the best. He can be very childish. When Rob does something right or wins something he talks with a different, little voice – like a five-year-old.

“Rob is sexy, in a tortured artist way. This might be because he is British. He’s tall, looks like he is thinking all the time and is incredibly funny.

“I love the way he sings. It breaks my heart. And don’t you think he’s just gorgeous? Rob’s also a very bad liar, he just can’t do it!”

The American star also claims Pattinson once proposed to her for a joke.She told the News of the World newspaper: “He asked me to marry him. As a joke, though. Well at least I think so.”

The couple have been rumoured to be in a relationship since they first met on the set of the vampire movies, but have never officially been seen together, despite rumours they were going to reveal their status at this year’s BAFTA Awards.

Speaking at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel at a post-BAFTAs dinner this year, Pattinson said: “It is extremely difficult but we are together, yes. We can’t arrive at the same time because of the fans, it goes crazy.”

either way they get along really great- either as friends or as lovers" they spend time together filming and in their spare time privately whether it is in Italy, the USA or the UK or Canada
now I am quite sure that they are more than friends - it would be just a little bit too much of a coincidence that they are film partners and best friends and would like to travel that much together and choose destinations where one of them has some thing to attend and look how to stay close. i mean, Kristen is friends with Nikki Reed and they spend time together if they happen to be in the same city but they do not choose to fly where the other is and stuff...

I think it's great for the both of them! let's hope they'll stay happy as long as possible

Yeah, I think they are really seriously dating. I even start to doubt that it is for publicity only because a) doesn't seem like something they would do and b) it would be a really drastic publicity stunt. Or maybe they are just good friends who do each other and like to spend time with each other. I don't know, so many possibilities.

well, i'd say it's pretty clear that they are together BUT it could still be a huge PR-stunt. i doubt it though..
although why were there papz? did they know the shoot was over and they were simply waiting for rob to fly out and kristen just happened to be there with him or did they know a little more? i mean we didn't get pics of them arriving in budapest, how would they know the exact time they leave?!

Alvie - it's kinda a known thing he finished with BA this week so my guess is that they waited (paps) the whole weekend on the airport to get pics of him and kristen since the rumors were she was there (for example there a troop of paps every weekend at LAX and if they spot someone means they got lucky or they just get a tip from someone/via twitter).

what i find weird is that her PA came with her... could be she's gonna do some business stuff too in Europe. weird anyway.

i read that someone twittered about him landing in London but i don't get why there wouldn't be any pap pics when they got a tip he left Hungary.
and i've read on LJ that she's supposed to be in LA on wednesday (some dress fitting or something, some guy twittered about her coming to his house or something).
who knows? maybe he's off to USA, though i doubt it (he's set to film WFE next month in LA).
