Unfortunately, right now there's no release date set for it. I think the film is still looking for a distributor. I dont think we'll see it this year

I thought that it only needed distributors for the US and there's another European country as well but I can't remember which one?

^I believe that's correct, there's no US distributor. But I dont think they'll release it without a US distributor unless they release it to the UK first which might be likely.

The movie is released on Sept 28th in France. You guys could hope for Venice/TIFF for an earlier release. I don't think the movie needs to come out first in the USA since I don't think they'll do a promo a la WFE. I am a die hard fan of the book and I really don't look forward seeing it - but I will because you never know -. I mean movies like TTOL got very limited release in the USA with A-list so BA with Ricci/Thurman/Pattinson? As for the UK I have no idea but France, Italy put a lots of money in the movie I believe along with the UK so I guess we'll hear a release date soon for it?

On a style aspect I really hope he'll start dressing up more for his press junket/interview/promo outside of the RC. His WFE promo outfits were pretty terrible.

I completely forgot about Venice and TIFF! Hopefully that will be the case!! I'm surprised they didn't show it at Cannes though, but who knows.

I agree about his premiere/junket style. What I wouldn't give to get that man in a Tom Ford suit!!

I know he really needs Tom Ford for premiere !! I also wish he'd understand that giving promo interview/press junket is working too not just talk shows and premieres so he has to try more for his outfits! His dirty sneakers, not so ironed shirts and jeans he wore 3 times in a row are gettind old (I swear in Europe he wore the same clothes over and over again for interviews) I am even more shocked now than Depp started his own promo. He showed how you can look interesting, still "you" yet always dashing, groomed and polished. Looks like the only thing Pattinson can try in term of style are flashy suits.. But overall I hate hobo style done too hobo I don't think it makes any sense!I miss his 2008/2009 style.. I don't know if it was better but I feel like it suited him better. I don't know, it's like the more time goes by the more risks he takes in term of colours on the RC but the worst his off RC has gotten.

As for Cannes, I am not surprised. It'd have bee taking too much risks, Bel Ami is HUGE in France, plus they spent a lots of time editing it, I think they completed the movie a few days/weeks ago..For me, TIFF would be better for them.

^I completley agree. I'm sure as he gets older he'll develop his RC style a bit better. Depp didn't used to always be so dapper if we look back! But on the point of sneakers and jeans it actually makes him look bad because it comes off as if he doesn't care to be there or it's not important to him. That whole, "i just rolled out of bed," look doesn't go over well for junkets and photo calls imo. I think when Twilight first came out and even around New Moon he had a really good sense of RC style but it's kind of gone by the wayside for WFE.

Lets hope for TIFF!!

I think that comparing him to Depp is unfair. Depp has an unique style that´s very much his own, that none of other actors have -not even Ryan Gosling-...

^I wasn't so much comparing their styles as comparing the fact that they are both less conventional! No one has Depp's style, that's certain. But like Depp, Rob has a laid back feel about him, the problem is, he doesn't understand how to be laid back but still look put together like Depp does!

i dont think it looks as if he doesnt want to be there if hes in jeans and sneakers.. theyre only press junkets, not red carpets.
