Roberto Cavalli S/S 2012 : Naomi, Karen, Kristen & Daphne by Steven Meisel

This is Heaven for me but kinda agree Daphne is out of place here.
Go Meisel... Donatella is probably eating her hair now :bounce:

This just made my day....So happy to see Cavalli use some veterans..Unlike others I like to see Daphne here.. I like to see diversity...using models old and new in campaigns will surely appeal to a larger audience.
Naomi is the Queen and this campaign only helps to prove my case!

I love everything about this campaign. The cast is amazing, just wow at Naomi being all perfect!

I already supposed it, Thanks for confirming it.

I LOVE THIS!!! Amazing, and great for Daphne with all this supermodels!!

This is out of toppic but does anyone know the song played at the video??
Thanks :D

I find the discussion about Daphne blasé and rather amusing at the same time. She obviously blends in, holds her own and even works it out here and there. A relatively young but wanted newbie with these powerhouses, of course the claws come out here. I love the combination cast here, fantastic move. But am I alone in not feeling Kristen giving dramatic actress here?

You just took the words out of my mouth. ^_^

Thumbs up! Alls I can say is get it Li'l Miss Daphne!

OK I was perplexed as to why the same Sims version of Naomi Campbell from the Black issue of Vogue Italia has reappeared and then I realized that it was same team on both projects. ^_^ Not hating or anything but yeah someone was quite busy during post-production.

Oh wow, this is Versace-tastic!
Chile this is THE statement of this thread.

 I remember some article floating around on the internet saying that Donatella didn't like how Cavalli copied Versace all the time!!
Now all I am envisioning is the Saturday Night Live version of Donatella throwing a hissyfit.

i also see the vintage Versace vibe, love the group shots especially. Naomi and Daphne look best Karen doesnt look too good in some of the shots but her eyewear shot is amazing. I think Karlie Kloss would have also been perfect here she has that 90s supermodel vibe

^I was think the exact same thing, Karlie would have been amazing!

I agree that Daphne just doesn't belong. Although I love her. Still the ads are amazing

There should have just been 3 models.

Also I'm not sure about the gray background. It's looks like a photoshop work in progress.

One name in the title is so wrong here.

Somehow I don't feel convinced, though. Maybe it's the grey background or the clothes, but even with the casting these don't do much for me.

Wonderful ad. I adore everything especially the first shot. Naomi kills it.
Not too crazy about the sunglasses ones.

this!!! is what a campaign should look like!!!!!
sooo good!!

I love this! And I'm surprised as to how much of an old-school supermodel Daphne looks here- she definitely looks better than Karen, that's for sure.

There's only one thing wrong with this campaign- all I think of when looking at this is Versace by Avedon. I cannot for the life of me imagine a 'Roberto Cavalli' logo on the group shots. It would look completely out of place.

Is it me of does this look like 2 images they put together?? If so it should have stayed separated. Karen and Daphne Look amazing with out the Naomi and Kristen
