yes, i said it CINTIA tripped on her train:cry:
well i'm not sure if it was her dress or her shoes!
either way it's such a shock!!
she's still the best catwalker out there!

I didn't see her trip. Her foot got a little caught in the dress which required some careful adjustment.

lol, when they do the instant replay its the worst.. it makes her look like some prowling animal

Or a desperate bridesmaid going after the flower bouqet (spelling?) at a wedding .. (Ref. America's funniest home videos .. )

RE the Sinha-Stanic mishap, that was Lara Stone. Quite a wipeout! Apparently Iekeliene fell at that show as well and sprained her ankle. Those shoes were BAD.

If they make the platform shoes any higher, they'll have to give them walkers backstage!

Seriously, models are self-employed, if they can't walk, they don't get paid.

You might be able to get income insurance, but it would cost a lot considering all the hazards -- crazy shoes, hot flat irons, skin reactions to cosmetics, falling through stages.

It isn't that bad, actually. She handled it very well. I had no idea she was such a brilliant catwalker, though ! :woot:!

I remember that quite vividly...it was Iekeliene's break-out season and she aced NYFW and then this fall came. The same day Acid came into her thread to report tht she broke her foot....can you imagine the stress and worries Iekeliene's fanbase felt at that time!! To see her pop up in Milan afterall was such a relieve :p

cintia didnt even trip....it was like a "omg my heels might get caught" and so she picked up the dress a little....

what i meant is that she had trouble with the dress!
that's all!
she handeled it gracefully.
like a professional!

from Jezebel:
In its more harmful manifestations, you get situations like this week's Marc Bouwer show, where powerful stage lights over the runway actually caused burns to models' skin and eyes. Apparently nobody foresaw the danger, or thought to intervene.

Anyone heard 'bout this?

^^ yep.. there was some talk about whether it was the makeup or not, but it turned out to be the lights!

Was Vlada a victim? Her skin looked so red at lacoste...and that was with makeup so it must be even worse without :(

I've heard about skin damages from lights before. I couple of years ago a German TV crew burnt the crown princess of Norway badly during an interview .. Imagine the terror and the media publicity that followed.:lol:
