I have to agree. If you don't let model with conjunctivitis on the runway, don't let those with cold sores. And let me remind you that cold sores are contagious even when there is NO breakout.

The problem are unsanitary makeup artists. If you don't rub your eye to someone's with conjunctivitis, is is not that contagious! Not as much as a fever, cold, whatever.

Sorry to be cranky about that topic, it just irritates me to see dirty artists working and no one speak up, while some of use are simply careful enough not to pass diseases around.

I agree about makeup artists. They should be super careful, but it is the model who suffers if they aren't. Watch like a hawk!

Covering the eye is good, a reminder not to touch it. I sure saw Agyness's eye patch differently before I knew it had a practical reason. It seemed cooler.
