Another fun anecdote, told by backstage photographer Mark Reay exclusively for Miss at la Playa.

Rodarte once again had a great collection and the models looked great with their innovative make up. When I got to the location at 8am, some models were rehearsing (except for Jessica Stam). During the show the models had to make a few zig zag turns and Jessica Stam got a little confused and zagged when she should of zigged and wound up turning and walking into something that looked like a stage exit but was actually just a curtain to hide a big lighting post. She stayed there hidden but trapped for 3 seconds and then came back out on the stage holding in a smile. I saw her later that day and teased her "little tricky at Rodarte no?" "What a way to start the day!" she said rolling her eyes.

WEll i was in a backstage and let me tell you its so stressfull haha you dont even have the time to look, models run naked all over and you have to change them REALLy fast, and yes they are SBSOLUTELY gorgeous but that doenst matter in that moemnt LOL just to be ready

me too but i guess it wouldn't top the vid of her falling on her face
i'm sure it hurt pretty much, but that vid was the best fall on the runway i ever saw i couldn't stop laughing
