Phillip Lim’s plan last night — as he sent his collection down the runway for a second time, before a full house of American Express cardholders (and André Leon Talley and Linda Fargo) — was for a “repeat” of his seamless Wednesday show. It was not to be. First, just when we thought we’d survived a stiletto-packed Fashion Week without a major runway tumble, one poor model wobbled in her red platforms and floundered on the home stretch. She picked herself up and scrambled backstage, only to fall again during the finale — several times. In fact, she couldn’t get up. The audience fell silent; finally, another model picked her up and half-carried her the rest of the way. (These were IMG models, and they didn't walk at Lim's first show.) Everyone applauded heartily; even André smiled encouragingly from the front row.

Here's the clip of the model falling, but in style.com, that outfit isn't included in the 3.1 Philip Lim Spring 2010 Also, I'm not sure if the show was taped twice, but certain models appear with different outfits during the finale. Karlie Kloss closed the show, and another model is wearing her closing outfit during the finale. It's really confusing.

^The slideshow on style.com is from the original runway show, whereas the video is from the American Express show. The show in the video was only for American Express cardholders, Andre Leon Talley, and Linda Fargo. Other press, editors, buyers and businesspeople attended the origional show on Wednesday( the one Karlie Kloss closes) About the models, because the repeat show wasn't a big event, they didn't hire the most in demand and expensive models. they were corralled from IMG. This is all explaned in the original quote from Nymag.

i don't understand why models do that, it's so catty. It's like the Gisele vs KK thing from the 2005 VS runway. You can clearly see KK in the wrong @ 4:17.
