Runway Mishaps

one of my favourite falls (althought it's several falls in one) is that girl at the Gucci FW02 show... I saw it for the first time in the "hazardous runways" video, but i remember Eugenia saying in an interview that it was the first huge show she did (she opened it) and she was really stressed - another girl was stressed and she stumbled and fell 2 or 3 times... And after the show, nobody ever heard of that girl... "Tom Ford has so much power"

Yeah, that time the runway was covered with smth like fur and all the girls were wairing shoes with very high thin heels

Valery Prince was actually a Tom Ford favorite. She had a model profile on Fashion Television with Jeanne Becker and he was talking about how great she was.

I happened to see the Gucci mishap on TV yesterday. (On the fashion channel) It was sort of a commercial they did in between the next show...anyways, they showed it with the real music and audience reaction and everyone clapped for her the first time, but then the second time, she falls into the crowd and people had to help her up and there were people laughing. I think some of them were the camera people. It was an awkward moment.

Yeah, I think it was mentioned on ANTM (although...ya never know with them) that a fall early on in a model's career can really damage their 'future'. And it's 'safe' to fall like, 2 years in or something.
But then again, I hear a lot of falls happen and it really isn't that big of a deal.
I find that when the model is more popular (ie: Stam) it`s made a big deal over, because, well, it's Jessica Stam.

I once read that Natalia Semanova, an old time favourite of mine, during her very first Christian Lacroix Haute Couture fitting fell, she thought her career was over while standing, but no, Christian had her on the show and nothing damaging happened to her, so I guess is up to everyone´s luck, look at Milana Keller, she was the reason it took Dior more than a month to upload its resort video and she was choosen to do the couture show.
