regarding the double underwear. anybody ever thought that this wasn't a fashion mishap? maybe it was supposed to be? maybe the black panty is even part of the dress?

^^ I think so too. It looks like part of the dress. Even if it isn't, black underwear looks better than beige pants, which she must wearing, because that black dress is not the first or last one in that show ( I suppose). In my opinion it is not mishap but necessity.

I assumed that the black panties were part of the design, presumably any clothing and styling that is that visible, the designer and his / her people had a hand in. However, the flesh colored thong is a mishap, a very small one (only noticeable because we have the technology to take high resolution photos) and an understandable one (as previously stated, I wouldn't want to go commando for hygiene purposes), but a mishap nonetheless.
