That is so unprofessional. I guess she figured, "well, I did it the first time..why not again?"

If I was a designer I'd prefer a model to walk confidently and comfortably down the runway than hobble down it with bloody feet. Not to mention they probably have like another 5 shows to do after that one, and sprained feet are not a good asset.

i just think it is unacceptable to take shoes off just because you can't walk in them.

it's one thing for the heel to break and you gotta get it off before it hurts you, but completely different just to say "i can't do this" and take the shoes off.

Yes they are people, but they were hired to do a job, walk down a long runway in high heels. Not bare feet. If your shoe falls off, that's another thing, but just taking them off... well then you're not doing your job! Kinda like if you hire someone to act in a play, and they don't memorize their lines by the time of their performance.

They may be real people. But they are proffesional models. They get paid to do a good job. If you hire a painter to do your house, you expect him to do a good job and not make mistakes just because he is human.

If you read my post closely, I said people on the board are being much too harsh, it would be different if the designer or who ever hired the model was dissapointed in her slip-up. So who are we to criticize?
