Shu got applaud by the public when she took off her shoes.
It was cute.

I wonder what the insurance premiums are for these companies. if a girl walks, breaks her leg and can't work, she'd be suing and i'd want to be covered

LOL, I kinda think this is the best thing that's ever happened to this girl. Everyone knows her name now (albeit not for the reasons she may have wanted, but still).

Oh my gosh! that's just terrible. Not even one of the better falls. And it was her first fashion show ever! Poor girl.

It seems like this fall was the highlight of the Burberry show.

Stam's Chloé fall was definitely worse/more dramatic, but this being her first show plus the fact that she was
closing makes it pretty bad. Maybe next time she'll take off her shoes like some of the other seasoned models did.

It's a rough way to learn a lesson, but props to her for getting back up and walking the finale! ^_^

WOW.. that is one of the worst falls I can remember, first show, closing. The only thing that comes to mind is Yulia Kharlapanova or Katie Fogarty during their 1st season at Prada.. but they continued to do great that season so .. it'll be ok for Nina Porter I think

This is definitely one of those falls that will be played over and over again. I just hope something positive can come of it for Nina.

Honestly I think one fall like that (however spectacular) is fine, I think the circumstances (her first show, the fact she was closing, the fact it was a big show) make it so much worse. If she doesn't make a habit of falling and doesn't walk too bad (hard to tell from the basis of this show, everyone struggled) she'll do OK.

I felt SO sorry for (almost) all the girls at Burberry!
The only comparison I can think of (like Charlotte has already mentioned) is that infamous Prada show some seasons ago where the shoes seemed pretty tricky aswell.

I mean, at Burberry SO many models had issues with walking in the shoes - I was pretty astonished not to see Jenny Sinkaberg go down aswell (because she struggeld big time too) and many others seemed uncomfortable aswell, not to mention Amanda and Shu Pei who took theirs off right away.
I think it was mentioned somewhere that all of he shoes where size 40/41 - so I guess everyone who has smaller feet than that was pretty much scr*wed

Literally cringing - I watched the show but they seemed to have edited it since the livestream as they literally cut off the entire lower half of the models who were carrying their shoes.
Didn't see this but something told me she fell at the finale, though I refused to believe someone fell closing a major show.

If that's the case it's ridiculous - it almost seems that as many people are talking about the models falling than the collection itself! Have to admit looking at the pictures her shoes do seem far too big, you wonder why problems like this didn't come up in rehearsals?

What are castingdirectors even looking for today :blink:im assuming that a models walk should have priority over whether someone fits the look or are hyped:unsure:?Its not just the Burberry show that was full of hot messes ...:yuk:

stupid Burberry, just cut out the best parts of the show ... :(
I hope to find the falls etc. somewhere else. Maybe when FTV will release the show.. hopefully they do.

This was a really nasty fall. It is unpleasant to watch the video. Firstly I hope that Nina Porter is OK. Unfortunately she looked really uncomfortable throughout. However as others were having the same problem, how can it be the models fault ?
